memories of grandma and grandpa.....

....my grandparent's memory lives on in everyday things I have around my home...when I pull out my grandma's teapot from my cupboard I think of afternoons filled with tea ,cookies and chitchat around the kitchen table....my grandfather was from the UK so every afternoon at 3pm out came this teapot.....he could not go a day without his tea....I always seem to drop in when it was tea and I think they secretly waited for me....after a day of school I would walk home always having to pass my grandparent's house....I NEVER did make it home ....my feet would just naturally turn into their driveway and led me to the front door .....always waiting for me was my tea and a treat usually fresh out of the oven(or box).....I love memories and grandma's teapot.

a knock at my door...

...who could it be????...why it's old man winter coming back to visit me.....I told him he could stay for today......maybe tomorrow.... but then he must be gone .....so cover my world with your soft blanket ....let your pure white beauty be a comfort today...but please don't stay long............... miss spring is on her way.......

Magnolia bakery in NYC....

OK....this is simply the best bakery ever....started the cupcake trend....I dragged my husband all around the streets of Greenwich Village and to my delight stumbled onto this historic bakery....if you like sweet treats,pastel shades of icing,sprinkles,red velvet cake (which is the best I have ever had) or any other type for that matter(they had them all) this is the place to go.....

I have never been to Paris but if I did go my first stop would be Laduree....I am sure I would never want to leave....oh to dream......

I am so excited for my new tote to come.....thank you lobster and swan....I promise to take good care of her.....have a good trip over the ocean from the U.K. all the way to Canada....I will be waiting Poppy!!!!
