~ Gentle Spirit ~

My wish for today.....
to let the gentle side of me shine through

*******

Gentle spirit
Dwell in me
By helping me
to show
Loving kindness
and
Gratitude
In all I do today

******

"Remembering that when you leave this earth,
you can take nothing that you have received.....
but only what you have given;
a full heart enriched by
honest service
love
sacrifice
and
courage."
{Francis of Assisi..."letters to rulers of the people"}

**********

"Thy gentleness hath made me great"
{II Samuel 22:36}

The lovely blue egg was a gift given to me yesterday by my lovely daughter Ali
{love you Ali....you inspired this post and you inspire me}

Thank you so much for speaking to my spirit today. I am a single mom and most of the time I have to be tough and on-guard. I work as a Safety Coordinator and that requires me to be straight forward and strict with regulations. I don't often remind myself to be gentle. Today I will remember to "...to let the gentle side of me shine through".

Thank you for sharing this beautiful and inspiring post. Yes I agree, we should be grateful for the things we have (and didn't have, that we don't want). 'Whatever we think about and thank about, we bring about..' I count my blessings before I sleep every night.

Your daughter is so sweet! She must have a gentle spirit just like her mom :)
