~ Thank You Feet ~

this past week
as I walked the
"road of everyday life "
I stumbled upon some amazing treasures
as the saying goes...
Finders Keepers
{but I will gladly share with you all}

my heart melted as me feet took me
into the children's area of Ikea
where I came across these oh so adorable wall stickers
{which are a decent size}

I named this mouse "millie"

this is "max"
{I think they need to make themselves at home on my classroom wall this year at school}

This week when the doorbell rang
my feet scampered down the stairs
to find
a friend who really cares
{carol}
she presented me with this amazingly lovely vintage bag
{a short story...once when our feet where out and about together wondering through
the local thrift stores I mention to her I was looking for one of these
lovely Mexican bags.....well she remembered!....of course she remembered...She's Carol}
Thank you my friend...I heart you!

when my feet took me to the mailbox this week
they found another treasure waiting
my etsy order had arrived from
an oh so lovely set of bird mini cards on wood
amazingly adorable
please check out Valerie's blog here
her sweet etsy shop here
you will so love her unique items!
Thank you Feet...
for helping me to get to some amazing treasures this past week

Hi I would like to thank your feet also Koralee, particularly love the rust grids, which remind me of giant 1 penny pieces and for sharing your gorgeous Mexican bag candy your lovely friend bestowed upon you, what a generous gift.It is my dream to visit Mexico, the place of colour. My little yard at home, I dont have a garden, they are hard to come by in my part of the UK,reflects Mexico with chunks of bright yellow asnd teracotta stone, catus and large red flowers. A very small space, that makes me very happy!!Sorry for long message,but love sharing these things with you.Hope the new term starts well. Sharon xox

Koralee-
You finding me led me to finding you! I am now also a follower of your lovely blog! I added your cute button to my button collection. It looks like we have ALOT in common, i.e., we both love girly, flowery, sugary, whimsy, colory, vintagey, decoratey, sparkly things! As you can see I made up a few words to express myself! Your sweet eye candy is just as delicious as mine! The first few seconds of looking at your blog had me hooked! I'm going to enjoy catching up on your past posts. It is my hope that I can one day be a recipient of just one of the many blog awards that have been bestowed upon you. Well deserved, I'm sure! So, I know I'm following the right person and the right blog. Please add me to your "Friends That Inspire" 'cause that's what I'm hoping my blog will be for you, an inspiration. Here's to new blogger friends becoming long time blogger friends.

Hi, Koralee,
Those wall stickers will be perfect for your classroom. The kids will love them! I want that little mouse in the rose covered teacup myself. Don't tell anyone, but I have never been in Ikea. I want to go though, and we have one in Austin. I have heard they carry Cath Kidston which I like a lot. You received some wonderful things including the purse you had longed for. Have a happy week. Vicki
