~a Christmas wish in July........silly me~

a handmade joy

{I know who you are}
gather up your knitting needles and some pretty yarn
and get busy making some of these sweet charmers
for everyone on your Christmas list......it is never too early right?
if you can't knit....like me... you can always go here to purchase a few
I just think they are adorable....just wish I could whip one up for myself
one of these will sure to be on my Christmas list ....
just image the joy of sipping hot chocolate from this cozy mug....
......it warms my heart just thinking about it
silly me.....i should be thinking about ice slushes at the beach

So cute! I am a sucker for things like this! I bought my cousin a sweater for her Starbucks cup last Christmas & I am still wishing I would have grabbed the same one for me :) Just think how pretty your cocoa will be!!! :) Goodnight Koralee!

Hi Koralee,

What a sweet idea and love the pretty colour.
I will have to get out the knitting needles. Thanks for sharing.

Hope that you are having a lovely week in the sunshine.

I love this idea. I think I may have to buy some for my family for Christmas. I'd love to say I'd make them myself, but it would take me 10 years to finish!! I think they are adorable. You share the most amazing things!!!
xxoo ~:D

Big hugs,

Hello,

Well, even with a temperature of 25 degrees this looks good!
I'm a born knitter, and doing cables is always nice.
Right now i prefer crochet because it's more practical taking into the garden :-)
But seeing these makes me wanna knit knit knit....

bye.

OH SWEET ONE! THIS IS FABULOUS! It reminds me of the little sweater for the apple that you had here once! teeeeheee! OH HOW FABULOUS..this will keep my tea cup warm in the winter. Here, if you let your tea cup sit too long, the COLD air will surely cool it off. ARE YOU PACKING AWAY all of your goods? BON VOYAGE SWEET FRIEND! Anita

Bring on the lemonade or, no, I just bought some pomegranate green tea iced tea mix....I think I'll make up a pitcher and freeze some into ice cubes too...delish!
Blessings!

These are great gifts! It's not that silly to talk about Christmas right now. I'm sure the stores will have Christmas up in September!

That's so cute! It looks pretty intricate, though, with the cable pattern so I'd probably buy one instead of trying to knit it myself :)
Thanks for visiting my blog!

Koralee, Do not even THINK about Christmas!! I waited for years for summer this year! (We went right from winter to summer). I'm enjoying summer SO much and don't want to even think of hot cocoa!
Your mug did make me think of something. A magazibe called "Mollie Makes" was in Barnes & Noble and on the cover were APPLES with crocheted covers and a button! Crazy. Love, Linda
