Absolutely. We must go on living and giving life even though the things around us indicate that life may not always be as we know it. We are life-long gardeners in this world! LOVE THE APPLE my friend, and soon we will be thinking apple pie! But for now and for us here, we are still in ice cream mode! I'm out on the porch grading some analysis on a poem for French class...it's getting hot out there!
OH! We just crossed paths! I saw your comment! How kind of you to ask about my auntie! She is hanging in there, given the seriousness of the cancer, but from what I am hearing from home is that she is now staying with another cousin. But she is in a wheelchair I believe, but still hanging in and being her witty self! Wow...admirable.
Thank you so much for caring my dear! How is your daughter today?
Great quote! I am going to shoot some photos of my apple tree today. It's the essence of Autumn, to see it filled with rosy apples. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
I have a young apple tree in my front garden and this year it has produced lots of fruit. I have planted a pear tree down my stables so finger crossed more fruit there. Rosezeeta.
KORALEE! I am so happy to see your comment this morning! WELL.....school is zipping along over here, how is it going for YOU? I am preparing for the open house night (a long night!) at the middle school, and this morning my senior high class is a couple of minutes earlier and I still need to plan for it! Ruben and I had a poetry writing group meet at our house last night so that was FUN but it did not allow me to plan so I have to run out this morning earlier than normal to prepare for that....juggling two schools and levels and systems is tricky, but I need to learn it. I need STRENGTH!
I think of you as well, knowing that you are back and doing what I know you do so well - inspiring the young children with your creativity and gentle spirit.
I want to thank you for thinking of me, for being my friend, and just being YOU.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE that quote. I used to live in Santa Rosa. There is a lovely Martin Luther home there which is now a museum.
