there sits a forest
my Christmas decorations are all put away
except for the rows of tiny trees
which sit along my window-ledges
my little forest
which seem to be getting ready for spring
{ perhaps that is a bit of wishful thinking on my part }
hope you are all very well

What an artistic image you came up with! What a fun little forest! I've cleared my decks too.
ReplyDelete((hugs)), Teresa :-)
Gorgeous picture, and the quote is great! Spring seems a long way off with this sub-zero weather. Thankful for a warm home. Best wishes to you, Koralee. ~Joyce
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post Koralee.. I am well, thank you.. I hope your Christmas was full of joy and the New Year brings you much happiness.
ReplyDeleteFondly,
Penny
As long as it's winter I'm sure those trees are right at home!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, my friend!
XO,
Jane
How lovely see those little reminders of a year past. What a wonderful year this will be for you!
ReplyDeleteSweet hugs my friend!
Arrived safely, will post photos soon! ❤️
Isn't that funny how we leave something of our decorations out just a little longer. I have a row of little cardboard houses and some angel wings. Just holding on a little while until I see the flowers beginning to shine outdoors.
ReplyDeleteI love that our little forest is sitting by the window completing your sweet landscape. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI love this picture!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, dear Koralee and I love your sweet little forest.
ReplyDeleteHope your year is off to a great start and sending best wishes for 2014.
hugs

Wishing you a wonderful week, hope you don't stick in the snow .....
ReplyDeleteLove and hugs

The Christmas decorations will have to wait to be put away this weekend. You always inspire me.
ReplyDeleteI have dreams of the wedding cake topper I will be making.

Great quote!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year wishes Koralee~
I'm sure looking forward to Spring here in freezing midwest!
Good morning dear friend!
ReplyDeleteThese little trees look just like mine that are sitting patiently in my studio. I cannot or rather, will not take the risk of bending and lift just yet, to put these articles away. My back is SO MUCH BETTER, and being home yet again today, Tuesday, because of our dangerously low temps, is giving me a chance to rest even more.
How are you? Are you back at school today? Is your weather as fierce as ours?
Let us now rejoice in the promise of spring, and all the metaphors that CHANGE of SEASONS brings us for our lives, these special lives we've been accorded! LOVE, Anita
Oooh! Bundle up yourself my friend! Outside supervision is challenging in the winter! I remember having it in -30 degrees!
ReplyDeleteYes, today is another blissful day of rest for my back and skin (no exposure to the cold!)
Have a lovely day and know I will be thinking of you! Anita
I am always happy to see you, and say the name, koralee . . .
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
I still have a bit of wintery things up, but all my Christmas is put away also. I can't help but think about pinks and reds! :) Have a lovely day! xo Holly
ReplyDeleteHi Koralee!
ReplyDeleteA perfect message for today ...
Rachael and Juan are putting an offer on a house ... There are other offers so we're keeping our fingers and hearts crossed!
But then again, I know their happiness does not depend on this!
Thank you 💜
Keep warm!
Blessings always to you and your beautiful family!
~ Maria
My little trees were the last to be put away….
ReplyDeleteYour little forest is so charming and the quote is so true. I have a Hellebore blooming on the deck - my little spot of springtime. Stay cozy. Hugs xo Karen
ReplyDeleteAhhh...Spring. That is a hard thing to imagine right now. Your trees look perfect in their new home!
ReplyDeleteOur decorations are put away too Koralee and spring will be here in no time!
ReplyDeleteLove your tiny forest and those words of wisdom too...
Happy Wednesday!

Good morning dear, dear friend! Thank you for coming by last night! I hope the POLAR VORTEX has not seized you as it has us...but since you're on the west, it probably passed you! Oh my dear, it IS Thursday and how did it come so fast? I have to go get some study guides ready for my seniors for their final exam next week! AH! Working secondary is different, and I am learning as I go!
ReplyDeleteWIshing you a splendid day, filled with only that which is bright and good, uplifting and MARVELOUS! Anita
How lovely, dearest Koralee! Your little trees are so fresh and pretty...
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, the promise of Spring... :)
We had a bit of a thaw...the birds are singing again...
I love your sweet new header...
Thank you so much for the beautiful message you left for me!
Joy and love to you!!
Hugs,

Dear Koralee,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful words! Just read a book by C.S. Lewis in which he wrote about the death of his beloved wife. Love his style of writing and his approach to life/love.
A Happy weekend dear friend!
