beauty in the details...

detail: to furnish with the smaller elements of design and trimmings...
yes....i am a detail kinda gal...
i make purchase depending on the packaging and the sweet added bits of an item...
the sweeter the better..
buttons..bows...lace...ribbon...
these are some of the p.j.s i purchased because i loved the adorable trims on them...

detail on shoes....{i helped Molly pick these sweeties out}

and especially detail on china....

{i just noticed i may have a thing for roses as well}

do you pay attention to the details?

Oh yes, I agree...there is much beauty in the details. A special little detail can make all the difference, in baking, crafting, gift giving and in fact everything!

I love those shoes! This is a great post idea. Looking more closely at things, can reveal much that was earlier missed.

Hi Koralee:

Thank you so much for the award. I will post it shortly, just trying to get the house back in order.

Love your roses, btw!

Ohhhhh, you have my mother's wedding china! It's the cream one with the pink roses and gold trim. I have some of the pieces --- and cherish them SO MUCH! They were our 'good china' until I was well into my teens (then mom got Noritake; not nearly as pretty). Mom's wedding china came from gas stations who gave them out, piece by piece, when you bought gasoline. I believe they were probably Homer Laughlin, but I don't think there's a label on the back. They are packed up (I still haven't unpacked all of mother's things --- so many memories and emotional responses --- it's better done in spurts). I want to find them soon. Thanks for the walk down memory lane.
