Hi Koralee, Thanks for visiting my blog. I've had fun reading yours too - some beautiful images. Yes, the nettles I used were the stinging variety that grow in Canada too. You need gloves to pick them but heat deactivates the sting. They are full of health giving properties... and taste good too!
