~ a little trumpet blowing ~

This week we had a

celebration~jubilation

in our home

we gathered up the

ruffles

party hats

noisemakers

to salute

a milestone...

a journey which has only begun

a Grade 8 Graduation

...no more middle school for my daughter Sydney

it's off to high school

we had sumptuous cake ...

{she is a ballerina...hence the topper}

yummy refreshments....

fabulously fun party favours...

we

yelled

screamed

and totally embarrassed

her when she went up to get her diploma

{that's what families are for...right?}

What did you celebrate this week?

What an awesome post...love it! Thank you so much for the visit, it allowed me to find you and I'm so glad I did. I'm definitely adding you to my blog roll. I celebrated the memory of my dad, my dad passed suddenly two years ago and I miss him terribly BUT I'm so thankful that I had the most awesome dad that taught me so much! I'm off now to peruse through the rest of your blog!

Hugs,
Karyn
