~some simple gifts for you ~

lovelies to share with you this pink saturday
sweet pink
one for you and one for me
notice the pink bakery box these little gems came in
{not quiet a Laduree box filled with bright macaroons but pretty enough all the same}

my soft pink garden dahlias
{dahlias named~ delicious strawberry cream}
picked just for you

each petal shaped so amazingly perfect
did you know that
Victorians embraced the symbolic use of flowers
to express their feelings
and that light pink flowers=admiration and friendship
the perfect color for you today

a gift of words
