The
Maria and Me
"cute spot"
adventure series
Some of you may remember my lovely new bike
"Maria"
{I adopted her a few months ago}
So I have been out and about with her quiet a bit
visiting the "cute spots" of my area
So every so often I will feature one of these "spots" on my blog
but
I have strict rules when I take "Maria" out
these must be followed at all times....
1.I must ride her while only wearing an adorable girly outfit
{shoes included}
2.I leave the "sweat" at home
{none of this workout stuff for Maria and I..I will leave that for my home workout bike}
3.We stop often for..
cupcakes
baked goods
tea
candy stores
charming bistros
boutiques
farmer's markets
flea markets
yard sales
{really anything cute and picture worthy}
located on Denman st.
and ate my favourite...red velvet... there
{only problem is that "Maria" needs a basket to carry all my goodies home in....
so for now my husband does the toting ...i do allow him along with me...only if he looks good that day and promises not to squish the mechanise...lucky him}

How fun...I'd love to follow your Maria & Me tours.
Hi Koralee:
I have been meaning to ask you about some places to visit for vintage etc. I may be coming out in November to Surrey for the U18 Nationals for girl's hockey. Any suggestions or are you quite far from Surrey?
Thanks so much,
Lisa
Love this idea. Looking forward to seeing lots more Maria adventures. Simone is just a darling. Have a great week.

Firstly, THANK YOU SO MUCH....for the lovely mention - you always do things so beautifully - and that is why I adore your blog :)
And Maria is beautiful.....I don't think I have seen her before.....I would LOVE a bike like that. I did giggle about you "allowing" your husband along with you, you put that so nicely! What fun :)
Looks like such a lovely day with Maria and your husband. The cupcakes look divine.
Hope you enjoy your trip

Maria is just a doll! I'd love to have my own version of a Maria, but for now my bike is of the sweaty, trail variety. (Though I do still have my boyfriend tote my belongings around). Can't wait to see more Maria outings in the future.
You and maria have been quite busy. Beautiful post. Blessings, andrea
PS: prayer request at arise 2 write
How Fun! I think I could be very happy by your side on this shopping trip! Eat lots of cupcakes and find special treasures~

Love Maria! How about "Maria, I've just met a bike named...Maria?" You can sing that as you pedal along!
I want a bike that comes along with these 'strict rules'!
somehow you always add a lift to my day. wish i could spend an hour drinking tea and eating cupcakes with you.
I love this. I will live vicariously through you. I almost bought a cruiser for my birthday, but it's on hold. Convince me!!
Maria is the prettiest baby blue...and cupcakes and candy stores and tea, oh my! What riches.
What an adorable bicycle! What DIVINE looking cupcakes...oh, the adventures you must have on your little bike, I cant begin to imagine but it fills me with a deep longing to have a bicycle just like that of my own...have a lovely trip, sending love
