~ kitten poodle soup ~

We have a quiet a few uninvited guests visiting our home
those nasty cold and flu bugs
have moved right in
making
everyone sick
everyone
but
moi
{me}
{knock on wood}
Sooooo you know what kind of weekend I am going to have
I will be making
buckets of
chicken noodle soup
and
dodging
nasty germ bullets
when all I really want to do
is have some fun
Can someone come and rescue me
and take me far away?

chicken noodle soup
kitten poodle soup
kit and kaboodle snoop
thicken strudel loop
stick in doodle hoop
{as you can see I am already going loopy}
Please save me from myself
I Need to get out of this house!

You poor thing...sounds like you're getting a little "soupy" already! Take care of yourself...get everyone on a dose of vit.-c for a few days and keep those heads and chests open! Good luck, hope it passes fast! :D

I love it when the kids go back to school -- except when they start bringing home the colds and flu's! So far we've weathered the storm. Good luck to you! Go out and treat yourself to something!

I hate having to dodge germs! When i have patients with a cold or gastro im always so paranoid lol. If you keep using hand alcohol gel after you touch everything you mite be saved :) that stuff kills more germs than handwashing.

I'm fighting a head cold myself, but I'm blaming it on the flu shot I got this week. It could never be the fact that I was in 97 degree weather one day, and back in the 40's the next, could it?

I know where you can find an easy chicken soup recipe:)

Don't let them breathe on you.

Sue

Heehe! My kids (Teens) have been sick for a week now....My Son was home the whole week and I am SO READY for him to be well and back in school! We have an Asian style restaurant local here that does great chicken broth FULL of veggies and glass noodles my kids always crave when they are sick. I also made a big batch of turkey cabbage soup which was gone in a wink. They both sound terrible but their appetites don't seem to be affected any!
Hope everyone is well at your house soon!!
Blessings~LillySue

take care! it's really funny that we don't think about chicken soup to battle against colds here (i think i'm not too far off the fact). i believe a chinese physician would say the same thing a western doctor would: just rest more and drink more fluids. never: "drink more chicken soup." lol
