~ My Maria ~

flowers fading
weather changing
swift autumn......in all it's glory...like a bonfire of leaves
"Maria" my blue adventurous friend
how many more times will I be able to ride you
before our roads are covered in white?

Hello Koralee... I hope you have many more beautiful Autumn days to ride... we are in for a big storm with snow after midnight tonight... Yuck!... I potted all of my beautiful pink geraniums yesterday and brought them inside in my kitchen nook, I couldn't bear to think of them covered in snow and freezing... Your "Maria" is just precious! Bisous... Julie Marie

Of course you have a cute, blue bike...what else could we expect? I hope the snow stays away a long time. We are road tripping north for a few days, my boots are in the car just in case. Ick.

Hi Koralee,

Your Maria is lovely ~ cute bike and I love the colour.
My old bike, I was given was called Gert (Gertrude) it was a lovely old maroon coloured bike, that I ended giving away to a friend.
I wished I still had her.

Have a lovely week and I hope that the snow will stay away so you and Maria can do some more bike rides.

Hugs
Carolyn

Riding through the colored leaves....swirling in her "wake"...sun filtering through the branches...window blowing in your hair....Ride on sweet Maria...ride on!!! Keep on riding, girl!

I was thinking the same thing ... white covered trees, leaves under snow, today as I took my routine walk along Maple Avenue... then I raked for a while with hat and mittens :o)
Warmer fall air still drops to the temperature that warns of winter.
Have a wonderful week Koralee
~Maria
ps. Great name for your bicycle ;o)

You have just brought back some childhood memories for me. I had a bike in exactly the same colour. My Dad painted it in the same blue and I loved it so much. Your photograph is brilliant...so professional. Hope that you get to ride it some more before winter sets in. XXXX

Hi Koralee!

Your Maria is so pretty - and I love all the flowers in the basket! I know - winter is coming, I see signs of it all over the place here. The positive thing about it all is that when Spring comes around, it is all the sweeter.
