I love your dots and stripes. Don't you just love this time of the year! ~ so many pretty things about. Must buy some peppermint candy canes for the tree, ( note to self )
I hope that you are having a great week. Hugs Carolyn
Bonjour Koralee! You should most definitely go after the Santa's workshop gig - you would give it a fabulous dose of creativity! I'm sure your home looks beautiful with so many bluebird flourishes. Enjoy the rest of the week!
Personally I think Santa's workshop wouldn't be that much fun, it's enough doing my own presents and that isn't that many! I guess I would be okay if my job was limited to cutting spotty ribbon, selecting background music, making tea or polishing the sled. Apart from that I would be useless. But I think you have more energy than me!
Koralee dearest! Again, you and only you can take a couple of simple subjects and make photos that make these things EXTRAORDINARY. You have great talent dear, and you remind me of my beloved sister-in-law Nancy from Fete et Fleur. You must visit her; her photos are also so stunning. Have a beautiful day!!! Anita
I like the dots and stripes so colorful. Its snowing here as well, lol.Wowo we have finally got some snow.It looks like its going to be a white christmas.
Your photos are lovely! They are urging me to do more with peppermint sticks! This is my first visit...I ran through your past posts and love the peppermint twine. Don't think I have ever seen it anyplace. I'll be back!!!
I'll help you Koralee!! I'll be a little elf........wouldn't that be fun - I bring my cupcakes, you and decorate them.....
btw; I saw the cutest idea to line a little table top tree on the bottom with straight candycanes (not the hooked ones) standing straight with ribbon around them as a wrap - it looked so cute in their kitchen!
Very busy...we take off early next week, so I have to have everything done and be packed. It is crazy for me this at this point, but the days before Christmas when everyone else is frantic, I can relax and let let housekeeeping make the bed! Love the dots and stripes!
LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW ME TOO..............I LOVE SNOW, ESPECIALLY THIS TIME OF THE YEAR. I HOPE WE HAVE A LOT OF SNOW THIS WINTER. LOVE YOUR POLKA DOTS, AND PEPPERMINT STICKS, IT SAYS "CHRISTMAS." HAVE A GREAT DAY. RIZZI
One of my favorite book is Shelia Rae's peppermint sticks & this reminds me of that...I need to dig that book out & read it with my kids & candy canes :)
Your blog is looking so festive! And not like everyone elses! Before I get too busy with wrapping gifts and then our new bundle I wanted to say "Merci" for following Parisienne Farmgirl this past year. I hope to "see" you around next year!!!! I hope you continue to share your adventures and thoughts thru the art of blogging and that you find 2010 a wonderful year. Thank you again et Joyeux Noel!
YES, WHAT IS IT ABOUT THEM WE ALL LOVE SO MUCH! THE CHEERINESS I GUESS! I HAVE BEEN BUSY TOO AND IN THE MIDDLE OF ALL THE CHRISTMAS-ING, I DECIDE TO MAKE A BABY BLANKET!!! BUT I AM HAVING A GREAT MONTH, HOPE YOU ARE TOO MY SWEET FRIEND! Come say hi any time :D
These candy sticks are so bold and beautiful, and I love the story of how the first candy canes were made, by the choir master at Cologne Cathedral, hundreds of years ago. They were pure white then, but curved at the top.
Hi Koralee! I love how you can turn anything into a beautiful picture!! Candy canes are such a favorite at our house because they are one of the few Christmas treats that my son can actually enjoy with us (he has a serious dairy allergy which rules out most of the goodies)! Merry Christmas season to you...
Oh Koralee! Such a happy post! You remind me of someone who would be perfectly suited to deck the halls in Santa's home! I too adore all things dotted and striped! Love the colors that you put together! XXOOXX

Wishing you some snow this soon *for a sweet White Christmas* ~Maria
