Oh, Koralee...
Sorry, I´ve been away for so long, I don´t know what to say... Actually, I have been here, but didn´t have enough time to leave a comment.

Your decoration is wonderful!!! I love it, and you know how I feel about your tradition with the socks... It´s a wonderful idea.

I hope you´ll have a wonderful day.

I love your color scheme, Koralee... there's something joyful about robin's egg ~ bluebird blue!
I am teary eyed over the quote you included under your 'photo of the week.'
~ Of all the earthly music that which reaches farthest into heaven is the beating of a truly loving heart. ~ H.W. Beecher

So very true and very much the meaning of all we are and do~
God Bless you and your family, Koralee ~
Thank you for spreading JOY

What a nice tradition - and I am so loving the new Christmas colors of blue and pink and not the traditional red and green.

Cheers,

Jo

I remember the original post when you found them. What a fun tradition! I am SO unbelievably (and frighteningly) behind in my Christmas activities this year. I am trying to take a lot deep breaths to stay calm and focus on the moment.

We bought our Christmas tree today and for the first time in many years I remembered the camera (shame on my....a scrapbooker who forgets her camera?! Oh the horror!!). A woman ducked under a row of trees when she heard me taking a shot of Hubby and kidlets and offered to take one of all of us. It was so kind of her. I am in so very few pics because I am always the one behind the lens. She reminded me to not let that happen as that is what she did as well and now she wishes she hadn't. Thanks to her kind reminder and efforts, I am wearing quite a bright smile today! :> I hope your day is bright and smiley too! :>

How cute.they look really nice with the green. When my girls were little or young we had a tradition of filling shoes on December 6th I believe. It was St. Nick night. My girls wemnt to a private school so this actually was a real person St. Nick who gave all things to children.I really miss doing that.If I were a millionaire the girls would probably love the idea now If I filled shoes up with money,LOL.

And what a lovely tradition, Koralee. I think that it's so important to make your own traditions, isn't it ?
Enjoy the run up to Christmas. XXXX

Hi Koralee,
What a fun tradition, and cute socks!
I'd love to know what you put inside them!
I'm such a fan of your blog, and bluebirds happen to be my favorites. As a matter of fact, when my husband and I were building our house, a bluebird flew through the framing on several ocasions! I papered my breakfast room with a bluebird border in his honor!
May I post your bluebird pic (the one under your monkey socks) with a link to your blog?
Happy Christmas Season & Blessings!

I checked with our post office, which is in this very very small town that also seems to move at a snails pace.LOL...anyway they think the package is held up in customs. I have a couple more of the bags in our inventory and will send another out to you if yours doesn't arrive in a week or so!! I also will re-send the gingerbread cookie recipe.
have a magical day :)
