Hi Koralee,

Wouldn't that be nice if it was true!

Why is it that all the things that are bad for us, taste so good.

Have a wonderful week

Oh I love it Koralee!
I was thinking the other day...
when I made the BIG decision to stop the sweets...WHY oh WHY are all these wonderful sweet goodies bad for the tummmmmy?
Which by the way...
mine is feeling mighty poooooched out over the jeans since I've been indulging since the icing on my birthday cake December 2nd!
Woops...that's almost 2 months ago!
Time to take control!!
I toootally believe it only takes 2 weeks to get back out of shape...YUK!!!
Delighted to be back in your world this night!
Such a sweet place to be...
So sweeeeet in fact...
it's just got to be fattening!

I don't miss being young except for my killer metabolism !! I could eat a box of cookies and lose weight now if I even look at a box of cookies I gain weight LOL

Ooh, my mantra! It has however taken me 6 weeks to lose 4 pounds yet in the last 4 days I've lost 6 pounds due to illness. Go figure! Um...don't misunderstand, I'd rather have kept the weight and not had the illness but it every cloud has to have a silver lining, this is it, right? Plus I'm almost better and all I want to eat is soup. I'll give it two weeks....

Helen McGinn said...

Did I lose my message? I got distracted for a moment and turned round and it was gone. :O(

Why is it, Koralee that all of the things that we love to eat consist mainly of fat !!
We just have to have willpower !!
I'm off to eat cookie crumbs !! XXXX

Oh how true that statement is- I bitterly came to that conclusion after stepping on the scale last week after being on vacation- I wanted to cry- so if I melt my icecream are there less calories? LOL!

Luiza said...

That´s information I REALLY need, so that I can stop making all goodies at home =D...

I´m feeling kind of blue, but it will get over soon. And I´m ill again.... I just got better, and now it started all over...this time a bit worse...

Wish you a lovely evening, my dear!

Is that why I gain weight? Because I eat a whole cookie? OK- next time I'm crumbling.

BTW: Truer words on gaining weight and dieting were never spoken.

I think I am the fattest I have ever been. This is the trouble when your spouse is fatter then you...you always think you are skinny...until you put on your jeans. And being in the cake decorating business doesn't help either.
hmph

Well...fat aside...
I am so happy you stopped by my blog...because your blog is a dream come true! Although I have to admit, when I say your lovely images come up on the screen, I had that awful feeling..you know, like when someone who owns a beautiful home stops by your filthy piece of crap home, uninvited, and you feel horrified! THAT is how I felt! Like...OH NO! SHE saw MY blog!!!!! It is a mess!!!!!

It is pouring rain tonight, and I have no cakes to bake, and so I am looking forward to sitting down and reading and reading reading...
this blog is a total treat (with no fat or calories!).
thanks

Oh my goodness! Like the cookies themselves don't have to be tempting enough all by themselves, but all wrapped up in a cute polka dot bow?! Yikes!!

I like your theory about the crumbles though (well, if I'm also pretending to not read the tiny disclaimer!). :>

Hope your Tuesday has been a good one! :>

Oh, how I love cookies (chocolate chips with macadamia chunks). And Ice Cream (Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia). And cherry pie (homemade!)...

Your blog is my treat, while I do my best to be good. It is a constant struggle and the clothes are all quite tight! Now is the time to get in shape for an active spring and summer, though.

Especially now that we are living on the Cape!
