Beautiful. I used to plan them all the time in Texas......now we're in the Midwest and I don't think they'd make it.

Can't wait 'til Pansy time of year, but that probably won't be until mid March. We still have a bunch of snow that needs to melt. I have loads of wild violets in my yard during the spring and summer.

We've had a spring like day...note the use of the word 'day'; it was a Sunday, the sun shone....and then, as if a dream, it was gone.

We woke up on Monday to a milder day but with rain and darkness. Today, the frost appeared. But I'm hopeful because I heard some birds singing; it made me smile.

Pansies are beautiful, just like you. xx

Julie Harward said...

I LOVE THEM...DO YOU KNOW THE SONG ABOUT THEM? MY MOM LOVED THEM AND SHE USED TO SING IT TO ME..."LITTLE PURPLE PANSIES TOUCHED WITH YELLOW GOLD, GROWING IN THE CORNER OF THE GARDEN OLD, WE ARE VERY TINY BUT MUST TRY TRY TRY, JUST ONE HEART TO GLADDEN, YOU AND I."
I DON'T KNOW IF WE ARE STILL IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER OR INTO THE JANUARY THAW...STILL NO SNOW HERE! COME SAY HI :D

Pansies, in BC? You must get some warm and moderate breezes. They wouldn't last here in the lower midwest USA. You have a beautiful blog, I need to visit past posts. glad to find you!
