{Checking my Calender.....can it be?}

spring fever n : a lazy or restless feeling often
associated with the onset of spring
*
this is my sweet sweet world right now
all blossoms and blooms
the trees have exploded
like popcorn
*
I do not dare to blink
as I am afraid I'll miss
the wonder/beauty of it all
*sigh*
*
i really think my calender has it all wrong this year
....for spring has decided to visit my corner of life right now
NO BLINKING ALLOWED!

Hello, dear Koralee,
Such sweet and beautiful blossoms you are sharing with us, thank you! When I was watching the Olympics the commentators shared how warm and spring like it was there where you live. Sending happy springtime wishes your way! Vicki

What fun for you! Enjoy all the beauty...you're right so many of the early spring bulbs, flowers and fruit tree blossoms do last such a short, short time - more reason to absorb the loveliness while you can.

Beautiful blossoms you featured...

It's lovely! I love Vancouver in the spring, it's like some kind of compensation for all of the rain.

Oh how beautiful. I would love to see that in my yard, but I will have to wait a lot longer. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Koralee,
I was(happily)surprised to see a bluebird arrive this early in March. They ususally appear around the middle of the month. Have you seen Western Bluebirds in Vancouver? (Or do they stay south? I wonder...)I saw one when I was visiting my brother in Arizona. I always loved bluebirdS, but my fondness increased when they flew through my house when it was being built. Everyone should have the experience of watching the bluebird of happiness soar through their home!
Blessings!
PS I thought of you every time I turned on the TV to watch the Olympics!

Hi Koralee!
I visited your last post early yesterday morning (with the ribbon and cookies ~ pearl necklace & the sweetest pink pitcher) I had to dash to work and never got to tell you how I thought the photo composition was so unique. Just lovely.
You have such a great eye {and heart} for gathering together beautiful things in God's creation.

I hope your weekend is filled with the fragrance of Spring!

I'm definitely ready for a little spring fever! A gray day here I'm sorry to say, but there are signs. I spotted lots of new wild flowers in the wooded areas along my walk today, and the tulip trees have burst with color.

I don't blame you! Do you know the little song;
"Oh, I looked out the window and what did I see? Popcorn popping on the apricot tree! Spring had brought me such a nice surprise, pop corn popping right before my eyes! I can take an armful and make a treat, a popcorn ball that would smell so sweet! It wasn't really so...but it seemed to be...pop corn popping on the apricot tree....POP! :D

How beautiful, Koralee! Aren't you lucky to be having spring when so many of the northern states in the US are still getting snow?

Of course, we have seasons in Florida too... nobody ever believes me when I say that though.
