Oh how I miss coloring the eggs with my sweet daughters who are far away in NY and Paris. How fortunate you are to still have your girls close. May you and your family have a wonderful and blessed Easter weekend.
It is the simple things in life that usually stay with us as sweet, sweet memories. I agree!! Your eggs look darling in your little polka-dot egg cups, Enjoy your wonderful family time this weekend, Kathysue
Colorfulness, sweetness Easter~ness ... Your eggs are beautifully colored, love these soft colors. We do it to every year, last year we sticked some stickers on the eggs too. Hiding, seeking, tomorrow is D-day! Four cute little baskets, two blue ones and two pink ones are all ready to be filled... I wish you a very merry happy Easter weekend with your husband and 3 lovely beauties. Hope there will be a lot of sunshine and chocolate eggs, many many CHOCOLATE eggs, sweet friend. xoxo
...egg~straordinary... once again! Our family is very competative ( yes, even at special times like Easter) They are now in there 20's and so we do a toned down version now ...but they each had certain freinds that would attend. Each person would have a different color, this came about because of a few "full on tackles". If they came to a pile of eggs, they were only allowed to take there color,(there were a few side deals happening in return for "location information"...very entertaining to watch...so much fun!!!
When the boys were small we used to do the egg hunt. Now, believe it or not, we have a family 'Christmas at Easter'. I know it's odd, but we started doing that when my mother became too old to have Christmas in the traditional way. We decided that, because everyone is SO busy at Christmas with other commitments, we would have our family get-together at Easter time. We are an 'odd' family!
Hi Koralee! So colorful and pretty! I've just put my homebaked {Easter tradition} in the oven :o) My Swedish tea rings for us! Bringing one to my brother's for the gathering there...and one for us for breakfast! Easter Joys to you and your beautiful family, Koralee! ~Maria
Oh how lovely your dyed eggs are! Makes me miss my Mother. Mom loves to dye eggs...and of course we grew up dying eggs the night before Easter. Loved the smell of that vinegar and the way the little dye tablets fizzzzzzed in the vinegar. Boiled eggs never tasted so good! And they were tinted BLUE....and so good salted! Yum! I can only imagine how much FUN it is to dye eggs for Easter in YOUR SWEET home! Your daughters are so blessed Koralee...and so am I to know you! xxooxx Happy Easter my Sweet Friend! I love and adore YOU! xo
We use to dye and decorate eggs too to hang on an easter tree. Mum still does this occasionally, but not this year. I love the pink and blue eggs in the egg cups :)
We did this today, but all the kids are here and most of them were eaten almost as soon as they were colored :-) Have a wonderful Easter! Blessings, Marcia
What a lovely family tradition you have and love the pretty eggs you have designed. One of our family traditions is to make hot cross buns, which I made on Easter Friday.
I hope that you are having a happy and blessed Easter. Hugs Carolyn
i love how the dye brings out such a nice pastel color!! beautiful!
our family is still pretty young, but i am going to start a new tradition of the easter bunny leaving something nature related...rather than always sweets!! this year its birhouses and flower seeds!
i love your egg cups... they are so hard to find these days... the colored eggs look so magical placed back in the gray carton... have a blessed Easter~
