Today the boat is docked at
my part of the world
Western Canada!
{So welcome if you are new to Bluebird Notes}
I have dug out my very own personal scrapbook
filled with all
my favourite local areas to share with you...
Beautiful British Columbia
{one of the the 13 Provinces and Territories of Canada}
an area filled with
lots of blue sky....lush rain forests...
green farming pastures....majestic Mountain Ranges
and the Pacific Ocean
{maybe this is why my home is filled with shades of blues & greens}
Welcome to my home....

...we will always take the back roads
when we can

.... our area is known as
The Berry Capital of Canada
{lucky us} bike..."Maria" goes with me everywhere
from ocean blue to pasture green

.....a trip into downtown Vancouver always
calls for a treat at the sweet cupcake bakery

....our favourite spot to
pitch our tent
is on
Vancouver Island
{just a ferry ride away}

.... Victoria is also located on Vancouver Island

{ It's the capital city of British Columbia.....and just happens to be where I went to University}

.....and yes
Canada in winter...
ice hockey on frozen ponds
skiing on our favourite mountains

Thank you so much for stopping by......
Oh dear..... I hear the ship's horn sounding!
Don't miss the boat for tomorrows adventure
....make sure you stop in at Designing dna
to see where in the world we are off to next!

I decided to attempt to read a few blogs today as I try to catch up around my house. I decided to visit you first because I knew you would bring a smile to my face. Instead, I'm not only smiling...I want to pack my bags again and come visit.

What a wonderful tour, Koralee--thanks so much! I was lucky enough to visit Victoria for a day during an Alaskan cruise this last summer--on Canada Day of all days! Pretty fun!

Everything was just gorgeous...and so clean! I really enjoyed our time there. Your photos are gorgeous--thanks for sharing them!

Lovely visit! I lived in Vancouver for a few years and loved it in winter and summer.It is one of the best places in the world to live! Thank you for a little trip down memory lane.

Your mosaics are stunning, Koralee. I loved the tour. Visited Canada once, the east coast, Toronto and Calgary. We thought the west coast a little too far to travel to with our little monkies. Most definitely we will visit Vancouver in a couple of years. Cannot wait, it will be great. The children will sit down on a white fence and I will make THAT picture. Anyway, more than enough about me. I already visited DDNA. Your guest post is gorgeous! How fun would it be to actually drink a cup of tea in downtown BC !!
Wishing you a most wonderful Wednesday. Sending many hugs your way. xoxo

Oh Koralee! Thank you for welcoming a boatload of visitors today! We love vacationing at your place! The air is so crisp and clean... the colors so vibrant... the scenery beyond magnificent... the hostess, well, what can I say? You have made us all feel MOST welcome! We LOVE Canada!

Oh Koralee, I have been wanting to see your neck of the woods since I first laid eyes on your blog! And then, with the Olympics right there in your backyard, WELL...
Maybe someday I'll get there and of course, I'll need my own bike. A pink one, maybe. And she'd need a name too. First stop~that lucious strawberry farm!
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home. Oh, and your bluebird toenails look FAB!

It's definitely on my list of must visit places!
