Dear Koralee~
I can't wait for the photos of the special celebration:) Love this post...it is so much of where we set our minds... When my kids were little they would wake up saying they didn't feel well {a habit they heard their dear Dad say everyday and still does} I told them that what they say is how they will feel. My daughter woke up the next morning and said "I feel good today!!!" Ever since, her & I have understood this little secret and shared it again just the other day... 20 years later:)

The great quote in your side bar will never ever leave my mind, sweet friend. I so love coming over to your adorable corner in the world, I find inspiration each and every time. Needless to say your image is awesome, it is, as always. I do hope you and your beautiful family have had a precious and memorable day, yesterday. How I would have loved to see sweet Molly with her dancing, fluffy curls ...
Carpe diem, in Dutch we say ~ pluk de dag ~
A huge hug and a big kiss for a lovely Saturday, heading for the next celebration. xoxoxoxo

I certainly needed to see this post and your quote by the wonderful Norman Vincent Peale this morning!
Being happy is a decision we can make even if some days it's a hard task to take on.
Happy Weekend to you Koralee

In support of your pink theme, I am going outside to pick a bouquet of my pink Mary roses. The rose bush leans gracefully over my Mary statue in a charming manner.

I share and embrace that saying, too! Can't wait to see the pics!

Hi Koralee,

Thanks for visiting my PS post....yes, it may seem kind of odd to show up at a blog gathering 89 times in a row of it's 104 weeks of existence...now that I think about it..LOL But not so much out of or about faithfulness....I think it has been my saving grace...something stable, something fun, nice people to talk to.....all during a time that life was less than stable.

What makes it all totally a great thing is that during all of these past 89 weeks there has been much change come about with life....selling one home, moving someplace strictly for employment, moving a half dozen more times....but all was necessary to buy our mountain home that we finally found in November of 2008 [during the slide of the economy] but I didn't move in until May of 2009. Thomas was commuting 900 miles round trip every 10 days until February of this year! wooooh..makes my head spin with all that we've been through the past few years...but now we are settled for good! And blissfully happy with our home and surroundings.

I think I'm living testament that a simple blog gathering can literally keep one's sanity and give a focus during a time of so many life changes.

I hope you and your family are having a wonderful long weekend...as always your posts are simply delightful! ♥

Hugs to you,
Stephanie ♥
