My jealousy is strong. Wish I was popping up to Seattle to visit my daughter this weekend. If you see a "pretty" 24 year old blonde with her head buried in law books and a frazzled look on her face, tell her hello and her momma misses her (and to sit up straight).

I sometimes think women shop and eat for every emotion! Why does retail therapy work so well?

Good luck on finding something new and pretty!

Have a great time in a great city. Love Seattle. I can only imagine a stop at Pike's Market for some flowers will be in order.

You quote is so true. We need to send the boys for some ice cream and the world would be a whole lot more peaceful.

Toodles,
Kate

I guess when I'm depressed I dig in the dirt and plant things, or take photos, or rearrange the furniture. Depending on the severity of the mood I'm in! You girls have lots of fun now!

Dearest Koralee,

Thank you darlin' for being the first to comment on my blue post; how appropriate, since you are THE ONE that inspired me months ago when I first "met" you. Your way with this color, that I have always enjoyed, has made me rethink my style. As an artist, I have never been one for TOO much color in my decorating palate. I get to "anxious" with too many colors. I enjoy subtle, muted splashed of distressed tones against a white, cream or ocher backdrop. But when I saw your tint of blue, then the color of your followers who also seem to like blue, I "WOKE UP" and especially seeing Rosie's treasures! So thank you precious little blue bird (did you see that funny blue parrot?)......you are a blessing. I hope you are enjoying your day out with your beautiful daughters. BUY SOMETHING FUNNNNNNNNN! Bisous, Anita

Hi Koralee, Thank you for linking your blog to mine for another Friday Pretties!
The presentation of all of the blogs is so much prettier than what I could do!
Total Eye Candy!

When I'm depressed there is definitley some Retail Therapy involved! There is also Chocolate Therapy. Of course, even when I am not depressed both of those vices are a part of my life... :)
See you on Friday!!!
