Ah, the "Glad Game". Pollyanna was my favorite book and movie growing up! I have used her as an example for my kids many times through the years. Thanks for the reminder! xo
The wisest words I 've ever read. I 've been trying to play the game ever since I read the book, not always with success but I will keep trying to find something to be glad ALWAYS, because that is the only way to be truly happy, and to help others be too along the way.
One of my favorite books as a child and one of my favorite movies! I can still hear Hayley Mills' voice saying "I'm very glad about that!". Thanks for the memory and the reminder to look for the "glad" things!
How true.....yes, this is a practice that ANYONE CAN DO when we have the will to look for all things good. Praise GOD! The countdown is on, and I am lovin' each day. I even think that this is going to be a faabulous year!!!!
