I'm jealous you went to PW's luncheon. I've been reading her for over 5 years and think she's a doll. Have also tried this cake and know why you keep thinking about it. I like pound cake and carrot cake as of late - gluten free versions. Welcome home!

I am dying to make a red velvet cake sometime. I had a little red velvet cupcake from a country fair and it was amazing!

I said "what is red velvet cake" and they simply answered with "Some kind of cake americans love". So I bought it in the pretence that I have never tasted anything American's like that I have hated. Except corn dogs....

I'm a traditionalist: I love chocolate cake with chocolate frosting! And M&Ms on top makes it extra special. I love how the cake softens the candy part of the M&Ms!

I'm so glad that you had a wonderful time at the Creative Connection.
'twas thinking of you all week and wishing I could hop over for a day or two!
We will all be so grateful to see this event through your lens ~ and through your words.

In the meantime ...
I bought the "Where Women Create" magazine for autumn ~ loved the "Balancing Act" page that you did. Wonderfully done, Koralee! {so excited for you too}
The magazine is SO beautiful... a real keeper~

It's almost October...and Holiday book-a-zine will be out soon too! Yea!

Glad you're back safely and with wonderful memories... Put your feet up tonight with a nice cuppa tea ~ tomorrow will be here just the same, and with a well rested Mrs. T

Oh yummy! I love Red Velvet cake! My all time favorite is cherry cheesecake. I just made it yesterday for a family gathering for my daughter's 27th birthday. All of my children request it on their b-days, and I am only too happy to do it, so I can have a slice (or two) myself. LOL!
So glad you're back!

Koralee,
I keep losing you! I am in Croatia right now. Can you believe that my home town is St.Paull (I am a block from Minneapolis!). The bigevents go on and I am out of the country. I "found" Karen Valentine again and then I found you!

I am so sorry I missed it all but we are here for the wedding of our exchange student son, Petar, and would not miss that for the world. This is twelve years later and we are still close. What a wonderful gift!

I need your blog for my daily inspiration so you are going on my favorites and my Google Reader! Thank you!

Hugs,
Suz
