{smitten......}

these pom-poms make my heart go pitter patter...
a few weekends ago I went to
the ivory vintage market
to my delight they had these
sweet flowers hanging in the entrance way
I was not only smitten by the flowers....
but my sweet friend Colleen {Vintage Home}
had her amazing vintage wares for sale
{why didn't I take a photo of her booth???}
I will show you what I bought soon...I need to get it up
on my wall....and yes...it is robin egg blue....
xoox
I think I will make oodles of these flowers and hang
them in one room...and call it my happy room...
wouldn't that me magical!

Koralee,
I have just painted my kitchen and one accent wall in the living room the lighter flower shade! What colors can I put with it? I have always decorated with reds and golds but secretly longed for the happy light hearted blue. I know you can help....

These bring back memories of grade 4 when if we had all our work done we could go and make tissue paper flowers for the teacher's friends upcoming wedding. Lol. Did we ever get sucked in.

What a gorgeous shade of blue!!! I have a tendency to keep dried roses, hanging bunches on the was because we get them so cheap, however, they soon collect dust and spiders!!! More like a creep house than a happy one!!! But I just might have to make some like these, thanks for the great idea!

Koralee, your lazy blog friend here... (I was really the worst this summer!).

My kids are now back in school (after a long and wonderful summer break) and I am slowly returning to blog reality.

Your great energy and wonderful personality continues to shine through my friend!

And yes, those pom-poms sure make for happy rooms! I agree with the teacher -- hang lots of them in class rooms. They are actually not that hard to make.

No need for you to comment on my blog. Just wanted you to know that I have not forgotten you!
And that you will see more of me!

Love to you,

Mon
