{could anything be sweeter?}

my jars of pretty canned fruit
help me....

.....to remember
those sun filled days
way back in July
really.... could anything be
sweeter
on a
chilly
autumn morning?

No it could not. A "chilly" Autumn morning sounds so divine right now. It's not even 10:00 a.m. and it's already 86 degrees outside here in Phoenix. I can't wait for some chill in the air, even if I don't have sumptuous looking cherries waiting for me.

Looks pretty sweet to me, Koralee!

There's really nothing like seeing shelves full of nature's bounty and your own hard work in beautiful, clean jars....one of my favorite things!

Hope your day is just lovely, my friend...

Somebody had a very productively sweet weekend. Only where you live can you jar up such sweet cherries. Totally jealous here... Once again you have out done yourself with your pictures.

Off to get my bowl of icecream,

I saw a home in Country Living a few years back that hung wooden crates on the kitchen wall just to display home-canned goods. They really are works of art!

I miss cherries! I never liked them until I tried them in Spain. Now I can't get enough of 'em. And somehow, these pictures just work beautifully on this fall day, even if they're out of season.

Hope all is well :) happy belated October!

Your preserves are very inviting- just perfect for storing the summer and fall bliss.

I don't know how you do all the give-a-ways. I just fall apart when I try to do them.
