Very much a mac' fan. They are gluten-free so it's one of my go to little treats. I've never made them and frankly I'm a little scared. Will wait to get a report from you on the ease it of all.

ooo Im looking forward to seeing how you go making the macaroons. I adore the colours they are made in.
Such a shame macaroons are only made with eggs :( so I can only sit back and admire.
Goodluck with your weekend project :)

i love macarons! unfortunately they're like $1 each over here, which in my opinion, is too much for such a tiny sized goody! they are delicious though and i love all the fun colors they come in!

Oh my, the colors are dreamy. I don't know if I've ever had one. I think I might have to try it too!

This post made me very happy! I think I might just join your club. That recipe looks AMAZING. And that quote from A.A. Milne (a personal favorite) is so cute. Can't wait to see pictures of your delights!

I'm very impressed, looking forward to seeing how you got on. I assumed that they are really difficult to make hence they are pretty pricey. They do look gorgeous though.
Good luck xx Claire

What sweet idea, the macaroon club. It's funny, we will go to France next week and a visit to a macaroon shop is on my list, somewhere at the top. No shops in the Netherlands. You enjoy baking this eye candy, my friend. xxxxx

I don't think I've had the pleasure of eating a macaroon, but they do look yummy! I like all the bright colours they are available in - make me think of spring.

I just visited this link dearest and I will give it a go, but I have a question about photography; the photo is so gorgeous and WHITE. Does one need a white room and white drapes to allow the natural light to flow in? My photos always are too yellow!!! Anita

When I go to Florida, there is a little bakery that makes these. They are so expensive, but we treat ourselves to an assortment and come home and cut them into halves so we can sample all the flavors! I'm drawn to them too. I'm anxious to see how yours turn out.

Dear Koralee,
I LOVE macaroons. I'm sure that yours will be delicious. Please let us know how they turn out.
Re the cupcake with sparkler picture, I've had it saved in my pictures for ages, but I probably googled blue or cupcake and found it in their images. If I see it again on my travels, I'll let you know. Feel free to take it from my post....it's very you !
Happy baking. XXXX

These macarons keep popping up in blogland lately don't they? I'll try out the recipe but without the 'strawberry cream pate' I think it's called. Think it should be all right without it, don't you? I'll let you know!

I've heard that
they are finicky
to make; humidity
can affect the outcome!
But I'm sure with your
magic touch they will
be just that: MAGIC!
Can't wait to find out : )

PS: Just ordered the
