Ooooh NO, don't you dare stop baking! Just make a little spaghetti diet (like Sophia Loren) and the jeans fit like never before ;)

I agree, we should move on to something lighter, such as chocolate cake, ice cream, pudding ...:)))
Be aware of health, let's eat the tofu:)
I am joking:))

I feel the same way about my holiday baking! But it's one of the things I most look forward to about December. I'm resolving to hold off on baking anything else until Valentines Day.

No Koralee!!!! Hahaha, I constantly bake as well (as you know) and my hubby always makes fun of me because I work out and then I will bake a cake or something hehe, but I have lost 4 pounds in the last two weeks, so I'm not gonna stop my ridiculous chocolate obsession anytime soon...love ya dear! Xoxoxo

Nothing better than homebaked goodies. But today, I definitely am feeling sugar overload again. I made peanut butter cookies the other day; brownies yesterday for hubbys's birthday; a friend gave me homemade toffee this morning which is very addictive; and then I was asked to taste test two cookies at the end of the day that someone wants to try and sell at school. I need something to soak up all the sweetness. :) Happy day to you! Tammy

Mmm...those look so good. Chocolate chip is my favorite cookies. I'm always trying to find new recipies. I'm vegetarian and my other half is vegan, so I always look for different ways to make vegan food :)

Now what is it about chocolate chip cookies after Christmas to tempt us. Another blog today wrote about making them too. Yummm! Now I want some. But also want some caramel corn and lemon meringue pie too. I even bought the Meyer lemons for the pie, but I will share.

Hi Koralee ~
I'm almost done with my peppermint bark and I ate the most amazing biscotti today :D
We had a baby shower for one of our teachers and with her thank you note, she attached a little goodie bag with homemade chocolate dipped biscottis... heavenly!
I'm trying to have small meals now... because you are soooo right... there's no comfort in tight jeans !
I hope your first days back were great, Koralee.
*wishing you joy *

Since I was working long hours over the Holidays so many dear Friends and Customers brought us baked goods as gifts... we were in 7th Heaven with all the goodies... but now I know it will mean extra workout time to burn off all the added calories! *le sigh* So I know exactly what you mean...

Teeeeheee! HOW TRUE! Even for us thin gals, there is something that happens to the hips...BUT WHAT A WAY TO GO!!!! I still have to try those fabulous macaroons that you showed us!

Oh dearest, thank you so much for visiting me last night! I WAS SO WRAPPED UP IN LOOKING AT OUR NEW ROOMS! They finally opened up the entrance way from the dining room into the great room and it is stunning. But there was a lot of clean up that we had to do last night, so NO BUBBLE BATH FOR ME! But it is THURSDAY, YES! And we are almost done with January! We get Jan.17th off of Martin Luther King Day and then the following Friday with no students so we can get our REPORT CARDS OUT! AHHHH! But before I know it, Spring break will be upon us and I can play. Oh dearest, enjoy your cookies, you are lovely.....and no snow for you all? Strange weather!!!

May you have a splendid day dearest, Anita
