I love blueberries in any dish! I have a funny story...my sons picked blueberries for a charity, a LONG day of picking in the Texas heat and came home without any for us! lol I had the little pamphlet of recipes that the charitable organization had given out and was all ready. But 4 hot, worn out...hungry sons came home that day with not one blueberry! We still laugh about it! lol

Love that 2nd shot, nails are perfect. We drink smoothies for breakfast all summer but lean towards oatmeal in the winter and now I don't know why. I've had breakfast but think I might whip me up a smoothie for lunch today!

I love blueberries...and what a bonus that they are so good for you! I have gone to a 'pick your own' orchard and you are correct...it is not an easy job. They seem to be ripe for picking during the hottest part of Summer. But soooooo worth it.

Please take a moment and come enter my Giveaway...I knitted dozens of wonderful 'Circle of Love' scarves while keeping vigil over a dear friend who recently lost her battle with cancer. Giving some away in her honor!

mmmmmm...YUMMMMMMM!!!
My first job ever was picking peas...We were paid by the bushel, which were about the size of a dump truck bed (or at least it felt like it!!) and I lasted only two and a half days. Granted, halfway through that third day I bent to resume picking and split my shorts right down the middle. HaHa I called my dad to come and get me and never went back!!!

Mmmmmm...Yum! I love blueberries! Good for her, that is not an easy job!
We have a local grocery store that sells all kinds of Michigan Blueberry products from local farmers. I love to go there in the winter and buy those little bit of Blue Summer!
It's Lovely As Always!!!

How wonderful to so literally enjoy the fruits of your labors! We enjoy that here, too...good family friends own a farm nearby, and give us flatfulls of the most amazing strawberries you'll ever see each and every year!

We look forward to making jam & freezing bags of the big, red, fresh berries...so wonderful to pull out a bag in the middle of winter!

Thanks for all you share, my friend!
