Ha, I had a elderly neighbor who used to say that about keeping a husband. She said a man who can get cupcakes at home won't go looking for them anywhere else, well, maybe she wasn't talking about baking!

Gosh that looks so good! I just got the cutest little cupcake stand that holds only one cupcake...this would look so cute.
Currently my cupcake stand is holding a clove of garlic (hubby thought it was funny.)
As always have a wonderful day.

Your sweet cupcake is a delight to the senses! And oh, I do LOVE snowflakes!
Your collages from yesterday are beautiful too!
I've been meaning to tell you how much I enjoyed your features in Holiday and Where Women Cook. I had thought I would give WWC to my caterer friend for Christmas with a bottle of Cook's Handsoap from Crabtree and Evelyn, but I couldn't part with it! I gave her a cookbook instead! :)
Happy, happy new year, sweet friend!
Blessings!

Well good afternoon lovely Koralee {rhymes, doesn't it? ^_^}
I keep on trying to reach through my screen but it doesn't work, your cake and picture look awesome. So do the mosaics in your previous post. They should be framed!
We are back home after four days of spinning around, hanging upside down, carrying around the littlest ones, some more hanging upside down and above all lots of fun.
Lots of love to you xxxx

Hi Koralee!
Blue and dark chocolate ~ a perfect color combination!
and I love the snowflakes border!
Let's see a small cupcake {with frosting} is about 3 points.
and a small portion of mashed potatoes is about the same...
Hmmmm {please pass the cupcakes ;o)
Oh... Janet from Army Mom mentioned that the snowflakes she used came from Cracker Barrel... Where did you find your snowflake decos, Koralee? They're so adorable!

My first *morning* back was ahhhh, so difficult to come to full "awakeness" LOL
I have a lamp plugged into a timer that turns a soft light on at 5:30am so that I don't feel like I'm waking up in the middle of the night - it's soooo dark!
~ I was dressed by 7am, eating my breakfast muffin in the car at 7:15 and standing in front of 25 kids by 7:30...
{as opposed to second and third cuppa's in my jammies until 10am - sitting next to our tree}

The kids were cute... January is "free choice genre month" since many get books for Christmas... and the buzz was the Kindle and Nook. I don't have one, but they do sound tempting!

I do hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow! Pack a little Christmas treat {like one of those scrumptious cupcakes} and you'll have an extra little smile all morning :o)
I can only imagine how much your lil' bluebirds love you!
xoxo
*blessings for a new year*
love,
Maria

Teeeheeee! HOW TRUE!!!!

Oh dearest, I just got home from school and we are having a snow storm...I am snuggled here at home, watching the progress on our new rooms, and I am loving visiting with you. School went well, the kids were happy to be back and I read a story to them to ease them back in. Life is sweet, especially wrapped in a blue cupcake!!!

Hey, a while back I told you about the most darling little tooth fairy cottage to hold baby teeth....crocheted!!! MY HUSBAND GOT ME A WEE ONE FOR CHRISTMAS! I want to show you the picture. Email me when you have a little free moment and I will show you.

MUCH LOVE TO YOU SWEET FRIEND! Anita
