I love the orange tulips how delightfully different! I usually go for the deepest, darkest pink, but if I see something very unusual, I might go in that direction. Enjoy the extra sun your tulips will bring you!

I LOVE nice surprises (thank-you!!!) I don't think I could pick a favorite color of tulips--they're all so joyful and happy! My middle daughter would certainly choose the ones you brought home with you--she's a redhead (or orange, as she always used to say!)...what a lovely spring sparkle they bring to your home!

Wishing you the most wonderful Sunday, dear friend...

GOOD MORNING KORALEE!!!

Well my sweet, we are both back at school today, non? Your two weeks are up, my one week is over, and for the last 3 days, the pain in my hip subsided. WHAT HAPPENED, HOWEVER? Like you, I am in pain AGAIN and it is worst. When I got up this morning, my back AND hip were at it again. Funny thing, I was just laying in bed!!!! So yes, let's see what this first day back will bring!

On Saturday, I had a WONDERFUL friend over for lunch. She surprised me with a gorgeous small bouquet of daffodils with ORANGE TULIPS in the middle....oh they are glorious..but like you, I am not an ORANGE person. I LOVE PINK or WHITE TULIPS!!!! I think that a cropped and tight bunch of white tulips tied together like her bouquet with twine would be so gorgeous in my new little square glass IKEA vase...hmmmmm...!

I so hope you feel better TODAY my dear, dear friend!

MUCH LOVE et grosses bises, Anita

Isn't that the special beauty of tulips? Sometimes you just can't tell what that tight little bloom is going to reveal. And they're so crazy the way they keep growing taller and lankier as they open.

Darling friend,

Oh, my first day back was SUPER. I am sure I had some friends praying for me because ALL went well. But my hips dearest, my hips are so sore...and like you said, I used to bounce right back after a day or two...not anymore! YIKES...well you know, I will be 53 this month..and I guess it is happening!!!!! BUT I DON'T FEEL IT OTHER THAN MY HIPS!!!! Well my sweet, therapy will help you. Oh, I hate to think of you being laid up like that! I so wish I could be in close proximity to you wonderful friends....I would bake you some FRESH HOMEMADE BREAD or a PIZZA...ahhhh....comfort food!

Well my dear, we only have 10 weeks left of school and I have so much to teach yet, but I think we are ready. The kids however, are spectacular children and I think the little sunshine that they got on their spring break trips AROUND THE WORLD helped them a bit!

Signing off now my friend...SEE YOU IN THE MORNING...Anita

I love this! It's funny how I keep seeing the most beautiful shades of orange lately. It's not a color I used to notice much, but I'm falling in love with it. I think the oranges against the blues in your pictures are absolutely gorgeous and makes me want to go create something pretty!
Thank you for your ever inspiring posts! So thankful for them :D
