Hi Koralee,

Such a sweet post and love the soft and pretty colours of the balls of wool.
You always have the most beautiful photos.
Hope that you have a happy week ahead and that life is settling down for you in your new house.

So true Koralee. And just as your reference is to lovely balls of wool, mine today, along similar lines, was to wooden cotton reels. I love the colours together, just like these. xx

GOOD MORNING DEAREST! First of all, this quote is true. I LOVE all the things from my childhood to this day, including that color AQUA! And the things made of wool...my momma used to crochet, sew and knit in the most beautiful of colors. AND YES...the countdown is on, and I can feel the squeeze of your gentle hand my friend....I CAN DO IT....SO CAN YOU...but I agree, we could use about 2 more weeks of relaxation/fun/house and garden organization!!!!!

WISHING YOU much success in not only your new home, but in prep for SCHOOL! AND....see you in SEPTEMBER! OH, I cannot believe it.

I love this quote. I often tell people who are searching for a new career or hobby to think back on what they loved to do as children :) So very true.

A bowl of yarn -- that's a good image to start a Monday out with. Have a happy day :)

Hi Koralee,
Oh my old yarn does not look this cute! I have 70's colors of beige, brown, and gold. Now I have a new big skein of white yarn that I'm making tons of granny squares with. {a Christmas project I hope to finally put together!}
I love all your pretty blues and that little pink one in the corner!
Have a sweet new day dear ♥

I believe that. I still love the shows from my childhood and can watch them and enjoy them. If they were ever made today I'd think they were so stupid. haha

Love this quote and I really do love your yarn-in-pretty-colors. Just looking at this happy bowl somewhere in a corner of your home or on a table must make you feel all happy. Fall is slowly arriving and the needles and yarns are coming out to play.
Have a fun-filled week with all the lovely people, I bet they love your new home. Lots of love xxxx

So true! This time of year (and I don't know why) I always get a hankering to watch Anne of Green Gables. I grew up watching it and it always makes me feel like I'm 10. The theme song chokes me up. It's such a sweet story and makes me all nostalgic. Lovely post as always... xo

I'm thinking you know what I think about this picture. ADORE, so much I want to dive right in that bowl. I really am proud of you for venture-ing into a yarn shop. Now, what I loved then that I loved now.....well, that list is too long for a this short space, but I will let you just imagine a few things on that list. It really hasn't changed much over the years.

Oh, that's so true! For me, especially the foods, just the smells take me back. Since a lot of the food from my childhood is food from Brazil that I can't find or make around here, it's such a treat when I go back to visit and stuff myself with them.

SWEET ONE!

We had rain this morning and did it pour! But now, the sun is shining here in my harp studio and I am relishing every quiet moment. Ruben is back at school, and I HAD THOUGHT I started TOMORROW... SWEET SURPRISE; I START MY MEETINGS NEXT MONDAY! So.......back to school shopping will commence this week when he lets me have the car!!! Oh, dearest, make it last, MAKE THIS SWEET SUMMER LAST! I love to look at the colors of blue in my home. I like to confabulate ideas and think of possibilities and try them out. That is what I will be doing today. I am hoping to launch off another blog to promote myself.....no details yet, as I am not sure about it!!!!

HOPING YOUR DAY IS SWEET, Anita
