{a june berry moment}

whipped up a batch of
strawberry curd
the other day
{like lemon curd only with berries}
I know it is not strawberry season here
but somewhere in the world
I am sure that it is
{I can still find fresh berries in my local markets}
My curd brought back sweet memories
of
June berries

I decide to try to dry some berries as well and it worked
happy dance
They came out such a
pretty colour.........

..........a perfect way to top off my
strawberry curd whipped cream tarts

xox

A hugs is a great gift........
one size fits all and it is easy to exchange.

Mid-week hugs to you all

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO do you know how to make our hearts SING, KORALEE!!!! I am terribly late dearest,but do you know that I woke up at 2:00am yesterday and was unable to go back to sleep, and I ran all day long with the kids on that amount or rather, LACK of sleep? But today is my day off, and tomorrow as well, and I am going NOWHERE. I plan to work on my Etsy shop so I can open it up soon. AND I WILL TAKE some of that curd, please! ARE YOU GOING TO ROSIE'S GALA EVENT?????? Please, PLEASE think of me? Please hug each other for me????

Have you ever had or made LIME CURD? ORANGE CURD? My mum used to make LEMON curd all the time, but when I lived in Boston, I had the best lime or orange curd. A great way to enjoy those scones on a cold day!

HUGS TO YOU ON THIS CHILLY and fabulous autumn day!!!! Anita

Did you make those tart shells in your square muffin/cookie pan? They look so yummy!
I love pie crust and just shudder when people throw out any part of it! The strawberry curd is sooo red too! Very lovely, Koralee!
