{the start of something BIG..........}

{I hope}
my collection started out with just one turquoise pyrex bowl
{the little one in the middle}
and has been growing slowly ever since
I really am hoping that this is the start of something
BIG
these colours look so wonderful together
what are you collecting these days?

Happy midweek my sweet friends

Just for Today.......

Up to this day I still add every now and then to my mug collection... Oh I've been doing it for years.

Your collection is wonderful,
I am loving the colors
and I love Pyrex products, I might have gotten it from my Mom.

Just globes - and I only have three... I plan to make the collection grow though, as long as I can find some lovely globes. I don´t like them too bright so it´s not always that easy..!

Will email you as soon as I get to it, my evenings have been very hectic these last couple of days.

These colours do work really well together, and very you, if I might say so. Happy hunting for more gorgeous pieces for your collection.

Love those colors together! What sweet little dishes.

Not really a collector of anything in particular, but I do love finding this and that at antique shops. I see lots of pyrex bowls like yours at a very large antique mall I go to in west Wichita all the time. Now I will think of you when I see these colors. : )

I love your vintage pyrex. I have some of that too. Those colors look so wonderful together. One of my favorite collections is antique printed table cloths. The kind from the 40's -50's with flowers, fruit, and whimsical patterns. I'll be getting out the Christmas cloths soon.

I'm actually trying
to rein in my collecting,
for the moment : )
An exception would be
those little glittered
cardboard Christmas
houses....bought my
first last year and it
will be lonely without
a few more to make up
a tiny neighborhood!
Love the Pyrex. I grew
up with the nesting bowls
in primary colors!

I'm afraid we're on the same collecting quest, dear Koralee...I guess it's a good thing we're not hunting in the same neck of the woods, isn't it?! (Although I truly would LOVE to be your neighbor...we could share lots of yummy treats in those pretty pyrex bowls!)

I'll need to show you my collection soon...the very same colors and patterns--with a few different ones added--and one or two soft, pretty & faded light green ones...sigh...!

Wishing you the most beautiful of days, dear friend!

You must know right where this is going. I"ve Pinned it right into my PYREX Board on Pinterest. But, this is one of my favorites of all I've pinned. Did you know I"m the teal farm couple one from 1957 collector.

What a beautiful collection Koralee! I'd love to collect cups, plates, etc. with flower decorations, old and new. So far I have one Pip Studio cup ;-) Not really a collection yet, I know. As a child and teenager I collected ducks; not real ones ;-) I only have one left now; a very very small one, made out of wood, made and painted by hand, a birthdaygift from my aunt and uncle.
Bye,
Marian

So lovely, I love those colours together. I collect stuff without realising I am collecting until I have a big fat ole, um, collection. My unwittingly amassed collections include, vintage bed linens (a shocking amount), beads (even though I rarely use them I still can't resist buying them) and the most random of all... brass ornaments (always animals) which I spray paint white. And oh so much more random stuffs... I think I need a clear out. Anyway, you are the master of display, when I finally get my own house back Ima ship you over to style my house, hehe.

These bowls are just adorable, I love the cute colors. What am I collecting?...hmmmm Well, I always seem to have room for more dishes (it's a sickness)and super sparkly vintage pins and brooches always top my list. I'm not much of a collector for collectings sake though. A small house and very little display space make sure of that!

I love your color scheme of turquoise this week, Koralee! Even your sidebar is popping with the color! I've been browsing on ebay for vintage linens and turquoise / aqua is so fun to find. Usually when that color is involved, the pattern is adorable and instantly makes a smile!
Happy Thursday to you!

Delightful!

Let's see, I am always collecting more
G L I T T E R

and can't resist a crown or a bird,

sometimes

a bird
wearing
a crown.....

I am actually going through my stuff a closet at a time and giving away what I'm not using or loving anymore. The trouble is, I am reminded of how much I like something when it's been a while since I"ve seen it.

I have a carload of stuff to donate including some tablecloths.... and what do I buy at an antique store this week? A Tablecloth. But its one that goes with my china and that I will actually use so I justify the process!

it makes sense, right? o dear.

Thanks for stopping by....

Do not be so hard on yourself ....you wrote above ! That is something to remember ....
I am learning and life is so so so much better when I do ! When I don't ! When I am not too hard on myself .
When you are young all seems to be about school and diploma's and education .
In my time ..... the most important things were not important at all .
How you see and know yourself , being yourself , be nice to yourself ....
It's never too late !
When someone sends you something really nice with the post and you receive it and experience your own happiness .....that also shows you something beautiful ..... something about yourself accomplished by someone who sees that in you ....who does that for you !
BY SURPRISE we can be surprised !
