What gives me joy ?
Blogging and reading all the wonderful beautiful inspiring blogs ... visiting from my couch ....
I just found a beautiful song on youtube
I heard it somewhere and it hit me and I did not konow the title nor the artist .
And yet I found out ....yeah !
It's double special because I have not been a music/songs person for so so so so long . Far too long ever since my heart was broken I could not bear music ......
The song is called ALWAYS ON YOUR SIDE by Sheryl Crow and Sting .
Why do I tell you this ?
Oh because this is what I was up to ....
Keep an eye on your mailbox ! not the email-one ! hugs

What a lovely weekend indeed! Ours consisted of painting the kitchen, washing windows, doing laundry. Not too creative, but productive which also feels quite nice!

xo and sorry I've been a stranger!

PJ's, turquoise chalkboard paint, and pretty plates - what more could a girl ask for on the weekend. My weekend was cooking for company and a visit to the Chinese Gardens for more photographs.

Love the pumpkin! There is so much that gives me joy I can't list them all. At the top of my list is just sitting beside my sweet husband of 41 years and knowing how very fortunate I am to have "landed" him all those years ago!!!

Hi Koralee!
I just enjoyed the last of our peanut butter wafer cookies {spied your strawberry ones in the sidebar} ... they were a "blast from the past" cookie package that hopped in my shopping cart and had to come to my cookie jar!
Do you have those moments at the grocery store?
Happens all the time with me!

Love your colors today ~ turquoise, cream and pink! The plates are gorgeous! How they must make you smile. It's the little things!

I spent the weekend cozy and relaxed too... baked all afternoon Saturday, until our evening church service and relaxed Sunday with family.
Have a wonderful week dear friend,

Nice things for sure
I collect old plates...I like to think of the people who used to eat on them, and the conversations that went on around THEIR tables
always fun to stay in your pj's

today....well, it was a beautifull fall with WITHOUT any wind (which is a big plus around here) and walked down to my pond. Watched my dog play in the water and the geese swimmming around.
ahhh....very peaceful and beautiful. Crunching of fall leaves.

Love the pumpkin ;-)
I'd have to say the pansies in their pots with the springbulbs underneath their roots, smiling at me while I prepare meals or try that pancake recipe I've been wanting to try for so long, give me joy every day now and also something to look out to.
Bye,
have a wonderful end of the week,
Marian
