not for another hour but this hour.

My bowl today had bright red raspberries rather than cherries. I could eat either one and be happy!

so true...happiness in NOW and HERE.
funny story about cherries.
My hubby's mom is 89.
She called and said "I am so worried I have had diarrhea for 2 days now and I think I must have cancer"
(she panics as she had a sister die of bladder cancer)
Barry asked her what she had been eating/doing that was different
She said, I have been eating lots of cherries.
Hubby say's to her "DUH"
stop eating cherries.
it was so funny

Hi Koralee! Thank you for your words of encouragement ~ and yes it would be great to be neighbors! Can you imagine the baking that would go on? I think I would become very round :D
I love painting too... It's great to see an old furniture piece or a dull room become renewed. I really enjoyed painting the vintage furniture pieces. The hardest part has been sorting through and getting rid of ALL THE STUFF! We're making a trip to Schoharie tomorrow {they were devastated by the Hurricane Irene last fall} with my old sewing room pieces. {countertop and cabinets} It will feel good to part with them in that way.

I do hope you feel better soon, Koralee! Sometimes we run on empty those last few weeks of school...and the summer starts with much to do!
Thinking of your beautiful quote today
~ happiness ~
is what I wish for you too!
Take care of yourself dear ♥
Wishing you a lovely and relaxing weekend!

I love cherries...but my only problem is I can eat a bag full and not just a bowl. Thanks for the happiness your blog brings!

I know for a fact, that ripe cherries picked from a tree are so superior to those that are bought from a bin. Yum. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

How I love sweet cherries. I have never tried the Rainier Washington cherries until this summer. I found a new favorite. Love your photo today. That vintage wallpaper is gorgeous. I can imagine a powder room done in that pretty wallpaper. Hope you have a lovely and blessed day.
