Madame Blueberry never looked so good.....

been to the blueberry patch
10 pounds of blueberries make for many winter muffin days
the berries will have a chilly life in the freezer until
it's their turn to get plopped into a yummy batter and warmed up in the oven
only to be eaten by
ME
{and family}
I have most of Donna Hay's cookbooks and magazines
love her style
found this recipe for these
too-easy blueberry muffins
in this book
fast
fresh
simple

recipe here
if you want to give them a try
I added extra vanilla
{I am a vanilla girl....I just dump it in and never measure}

{xox}
have a great new week

We are still waiting for blueberries here- We get them from MI and they aren't quite ready yet.

I am with you- a vanilla dumper all the way. Have you ever used Mexican vanilla? THE BEST in the world. I love it- xo Diana

I think that you spending time at your parents' home is such a WONDERFUL IDEA! And you get to read, to just be with THEM and recharge. Oh Koralee, what a fantastic time. You will be working no doubt on YOUR BOOKS and I cannot wait to see them in September, right?

It sure is wonderful to open my comments page to see YOU there.....and again, you are a VANILLA GIRL just like me...I am known to put vanilla extract into my yogurt or even on my sweet potatoes! YEP, I do!

These look so yummy. I'm sitting here looking at your pictures before breakfast, and now I really wish I had blueberries in my fridge to make them. Of course the neighbors have some, and it is early, maybe I could climb over the fence to pick some before they wake up ...... :) I hope you have a grand day.

YOU FOUND MORE AQUA AND PINK PYREX????? How fun IS THAT? You will be back on Friday, dear heart? What marvelous things will you be doing at home? When do you return to school? I have just ONE new substitute meeting in late August and then the calls for subbing will start. I will pick and choose what days and grade level!!!

I am having a dear colleague over for a visit this morning at 9:00AM! I so look forward to seeing her and hearing about her latest trip to Paris! She was my dear colleague in the fourth grade.

ENJOY YOUR DAY and see you later! Anita

When we lived on the east coast I had 8 blueberry bushes. I always had blueberries in the freezer to plop into my muffin batter. They just won't grow here. I've tried and failed. Too bad! Your muffins look yummy!
