Christmas Countdown......

call me crazy
but I thought I would count down the weeks tell Christmas
{so we can all panic together}
so here we go........
 on the 6th week tell Christmas
bluebird notes gave to you
6 white chocolate spoons a stirring.......

I shared these last Christmas and they were such a hit
I thought I would do a sharing repeat
{they are so easy peasy and cute}
~

so if you are not panicking quite yet........ good for you
we will see how you do
next week
when I share the 5th week tell Christmas

yikeadoodles

I really do not know how you Americans throw a  festive Thanksgiving into the mix too....
I think that would put me over the edge..........2 turkey dinners with all the trimmings
within a month of each other
hats off to you my friends

{xox}

These look like a fun grandchild/Nana project!
Yes, having Thanksgiving so close to Christmas can be hectic! (Our family chooses to grill steaks on Christmas day instead of turkey again. Many others have ham one time and turkey the next.

Oh dear . . . thank you for the reminder! Our American Thanksgiving is next week and after that I begin to look for ward to the Christmas holidays.

However . . . tomorrow evening I will spend the evening with others at a Christmas Tree Farm to make my very own Chistmas Wreath. The fragrance alone will put me in the spirit!

I look forward to your delightful Christmas reminders . . .

I know...6 weeks is kind of scary. And I'm with you on the American celebrations....glad that we only stick to Christmas & Easter (although Australia "does" halloween now, I've never been one for it, or valentines day either :-/ . All just too much for me lol!)

Looking forward to the next six weeks on your blog xox

What a great idea, Koralee! I usually get my shopping done early - it's the holiday meals that have me panicking as I'm the chief cook :)
Your images of the white chocolate spoons are SO pretty!

I think we need to move Thanksgiving and have it away from Christmas. It gets very crazy as soon as Thanksgiving is over. Love the spoons.

Those are lovely little spoons of sweetness. I've always seen recipes for dipped spoons but haven't tried them yet ... maybe this holiday season. Have a joyful day. Tammy

hahahahaha!!!! it's sooooo true! throwing in that extra turkey dinner can TRULY out you over the edge! but that's why you spread the work around and never have both dinners at your house in the same year!

these spoons are darling. it's such a cute idea and such a good gift idea too, i just might have to do this this year! xoxox

Okay, chocolate spoons, two turkeys ..... seriously, my mouth is watering now. I know, I don't know how those Americans do it either!!

Hi Koralee! I've never made those but I'm sure anyone who received one would be happy. We love Thanksgiving so much for the wonderful dinner but mostly that our family gathers together and spends time together. We don't have another turkey dinner at Christmas, we have ham. :-) ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Well usually at Christmas we don't do turkey, but I think we will this year as we will be eating at relatives and won't have left overs.

Half my Christmas shopping is done, as I try to have it mostly done by Dec. 1st. Otherwise, I would be going crazy.

Looking forward to your countdown. Fun spoon goodies.

Those are adorable! Yes I'm kind of starting to freak! I can't believe it's already the holidays! I'm looking forward to everything through. I don't know how we do it either...that's the reason we gain a few pounds this time of year, back to back stuffing dinners! I love your countdown:)

Those spoons look so yummy!

I'm not panicking over the holidays yet, but I haven't started prepping yet either. Clearly I'm not as worried as I should be... lol!

Yes I am panicking! I have my sisters wish for christmas... one of my ceramic farmers. So, I have sculpted six farmers (spent the last two weeks doing this) and am waiting for them to dry as I type. Once dry - about a week - I will need to put them in for a bisque. Then out for glaze and more glaze and then in for firing.... should be ready about December the 9th! and then I have to ship the farmer to England in time for xmas... and all she wanted was a simple farmer I had sculpted. HOHOHO....

I was starting to panic up until last night when I finally found an idea for my Christmas ornament creation for this year. Every year I make about 25 ornaments that then become either little gifts or the 'bow' on top of larger gifts. It's become a tradition and I can't stop now!!

Libbie said...

6 weeks! I never start shopping until December...just the way I am...I just like the more Christmasy feel of shopping then :) But this year it will be interesting since we are aiming with the babe for the 12th of December :) I'll just look like Santa when I shop :)

Love your spoons! I think this year I might actually get ittogether & have the boys make some for me :) ...won't be quite as pretty but I am pretty sure they will still taste fabulous!
