the start of something good

lately I have been hooked on
transforming
pinecones into pinkcones
nothing could be easier......
add a little pink paint to the tips of your petite pinecones
and then a sprinkle of glitter
for some shimmer and shine
~now you have the start of something good~
a perfect way to embellish a gift,
tie a handful to twine for a pretty garland
or
fill a bowl and add some fairy lights
endless possibilities
these little guys have definitely been grabbing my attention lately

what has been your attention grabber lately?

Oh, what a joyful thing to do, Koralee! Think my girls & I will have to indulge in some glittery, softly pink pinecones this year--thanks for the charmingly sweet inspiration, dear friend!

What could be prettier than a pinecone? Well a PINK one of course and especially because it's tipped with sparkly glitter! I could imagine a bowl full of those!

We have pine cones on the ground all the time up where they grow in our forest patch....I often look at them and think of the things that could be done with them, but never actually get around to doing it....

Happy week to you Koralee!

So pretty and sweet, Koralee! Love your ideas!
We are having a beautiful and sunny weekend. One tree in our backyard, a "late bloomer" blue spruce {it took two decades for it to start growing!} is strung with the new LED sparkly - "crackly" lights ... I was reluctant to try the new lights, but they are actually really nice!
Thanksgiving was a beautiful day. My father made it up and down my brothers long, country-style crushed stone driveway using his super duper walker. :-)
He had a great time with family and was happy he made it to his first big day outing since the accident...
Wishing you many sparkling days ahead dear <3
Blessings always,
~ Maria
