my sipping and making space.....

 what makes me happy?
my space
my little corner
my tea sipping ~ fun making nook

as promised in my last post.......
 I said I would show you how I display my cards
believe it or not
I use a "dainty" dryer
{that's what I call it}
you know....
 those octopus looking things that some folks hang their undies on to dry
I found one at a charity shop in turquoise....
it just kind of jumped out at me
and begged me to take it home
I had no idea what I was going to do with it
but I did know I wasn't going to be drying my undies on it

at Christmastime I hang my Christmas cards
{that the nice mailman brings me from friends and family}
along with little bits of ribbon/fabric and glass balls
on it

I think it is the perfect way to display them

off to hide in my space for a bit.....I need to make some more of my
little Christmas notes
{see "how to" in post below if you missed them}

{xox}

hope you are enjoying your December days

{for my next Christmas countdown........yes we are working on .week 3........ I have an adorable treat and tradition to share with you
 from my ice cream book which will be out in the Spring of 2013.

If I had a space like yours I would be hiding there, too. As a matter of fact I don't know if I would ever leave it. Love your card display. Everything you do -you do beautifully- xo Diana

It's a great idea! Mine isn't a very nice one, hidden away in a warm cupboard so not for displaying pretty cards I'm afraid! :)

That is so pretty. I love popping over to your site to see all this pink and blue loveliness. There is a woman who has a stall in one of the local antique malls who specialises in the kinds of lovely things you feature. I love walking thru her collections...so happy looking. :)

GOOD MORNING My most inventive and bright bluebird! WOW....this is the most wonderful way to use an undy hanger! I have not seen one of those in SO MANY YEARS....my mum used to use them for socks...

Oh Koralee, your little nook space is divine. I long to just have a moment to CLEAN MY HOUSE, and share where I create my posts (I will not share my basement where I actually do my art!), but your colors of beauty and love shine here for the holidays and are making me want to just DOMESTICATE my life with the special and most important things: to reach out to my friends and family with these precious expressions of love.

Oh my sweet one.....last night, my husband and I were SO EXCITED TO TRY a new tea! We were like children, trying to decide which flavor to try first! THEN WE BOTH FELL ASLEEP! This morning I am going to sip on some SANTA'S SECRET! AND I am going to start preparing my little NOTES of the season for my beloved friends....

You have been a blessing to me my dear and I wish you a productive and special day at school today. Off I go to get some work done. MUCH LOVE! Anita
