a wee little note.......
comfort food needs to be eaten slowly
no comfort in eating a doughnut
in 1 or 2 bites like my husband does

    Thank you for the wonderful note you left for me!
    It has been a wild and busy fall and winter.
    Life just keeps on coming... Doesn't it?!?
    We received very exciting and happy news here after the new year.
    Our daughter, Amanda is now engaged!
    We just love her fiancé, Nick. He is gentle, kind and so loving ...
    It is wonderful to have him join our family.
    We have been dress and venue shopping this weekend... And we were successful with both!
    She's so very happy!
    ...
    Oh... Chris takes big giant bites too! Unreal!
    Here's another "guy thing"
    I'll ask Chris if he wants a cup of coffee... He'll say no, but drink most of my coffee LOL.
    It's a good thing he's cute LOL
    Hope all is well with you and your family.
    I hope I can post soon. I really miss blogging. Seems like I ran out of steam after the start of my school year and my father's car accident.

    Beautiful words for this season of love! I might have to use them on a Valentine. The donut looks pretty great too! I found sprinkle donut paper coasters in the Target $1 bin. I think I'm going to use them Friday when girlfriends come over to craft. I'm going to HAVE to buy some sprinkle donuts to go with. ;-) You just sealed that deal.

    Yes!!! It's TOTALLY a man thing!!! I savour my foody goodies, but he wolfs his down! Then he sometimes grabs mine too, thinking I'm not going to eat it - grrrrrr!!!!

    When I think of comfort food, I think of creamy risotto, a nice creamy soup, a big bowl of oatmeal. I let my kids have the donuts (thought not too often). :) Have a wonderful week. Tammy

    Oh my gosh Koralee, I can't believe you put that quote up by Bernie Taupin ..... I was just listening to that song the other day by Elton John while looking at pictures of Griffon my dog ... it brought tears to my eyes. Maybe I'll look at it as a sign. That doughnut ..... I might be making a trip to Tim Hortons!!!!!
