*
a treasured friend
 that tinkers
~ those are the best kind ~

my friend
Elyse Major
 thoroughly enjoys creating pretty handcrafted objects
{the word PRETTY must be emphasized here}
so much so that she was able to fill a book
with her easy-to-make projects
that are beyond charming

a few years ago I discovered her adorable blog
and I was happily hooked
{we are colour palette buddies}

Elyse's use of  feminine
bits and bobs
in all of her creations
 makes my heart skip a beat or two
{the prettiest of papers/felt flowers/ribbons/rose fabrics, etc.}

 {she really is as just as sweet as her photo}

Elyse's book is one of the "darlingest" books I have ever seen
and can defiantly be labeled as a
smile maker

just a wee little note.....
"darlingest" is not a word but it should be

Good morning my "darlingest" sister in colors, trinkets, bluebird joy and more! I was hoping that one day I could fill a book with my art, but my life may take a different turn; but if I trust up above and keep working hard, maybe one day my book will be a feature here! We shall see....I SO enjoy trinkets and JUST YESTERDAY something very precious came my way... a little kerchief and a sweet little crocheted flower!!!!!!!!!

What is it about the little things that make such an impression on us? I don't know what you would call that, but I have a big Koralee-shaped impression on my heart, for always. MUCH LOVE TO YOU and many thank-yous for the smile you give me!!! Anita

Hello Lovely Koralee!
"Tinkered" is possibly one of the best words in the English language apart from possibly 'fossicking" which I am very fond of both literally and metaphorically! Congratulations to Elyse for her pretty~pretty book and Happy Spring to you from the Lane,
Sarah -x-x-x-

Good evening dear friend! I just happened to fall upon your comment on my older post and what a sweet visitor you are! I bet you are wiped out. This is a crazy month and my phone keeps ringing "off the hook" for substitute assignments due to so many end-of-the-year meetings for teachers! I was off today and will be tommorrow but next week I work three days in Kindergarten! MY FIRST TIME! AND...I have a job interview at another French Immersion school closer to my home! It is for 1st and 2nd grade, so say a prayer for me. I just want to be where God wants me to be.

I hope you back is better?My husband is now having major problems with his knee and I am having weird pressure in my ears. We are falling apart!!!!!!

Happy hearts, however. Much love to you and have a super Friday! Anita
