My peonies still have a little life left in them ... however, you are right, it is time to move on to the next beauty to pop up in the garden. God is good that way :) Have a great weekend.

Looking at this quote again here is a revelation; we always pray for God's love and faithfulness to come to us, to never leave us. But this quote speaks the REVERSE TO ME; WE must never leave love and faithfulness....how appropriate is THAT for any circumstance....and when things are good, we must continue on this path, to LOVE and to be FAITHFUL, and when things are unsure, we must continue to clutch on to these two important aspects of living. Oh how this makes so much sense to me this morning dear one. So good to see your comment, and though things have not changed YET, something IS BOUND to change. That is for certain.
ReplyDeleteMay we both accept the changes. LOVE TO YOU! Anita
Happy summer weather, may you have a day filled with love and sunshine❤

ReplyDeleteHey Koralee!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo!
We missed a lot of ou spring and early summer flowers because of all the rain.
I was able to cut a few peonies and enjoy them in the house. They are so lovely.
Tomorrow is Amanda's birthday. We
Are going to make Molly's coconut ice cream recipe from your book!
I finally bought a Cuisinart ice cream maker ... And you won't believe the price!
Amanda called me from Bed Bath and Beyond and told me that the display was on sale for $35. With the 20% off coupon it was less than $30 ! ! !
We can't wait to try our first ice cream recipe!
I'll let you know how it goes.
Wishing you a sunny week, Koralee!
- Maria

And hooray for summer vacation! Enjoy, sweet Koralee!

Waiting patiently until November for peony season. But yesterday, in my midwinter garden I found the first of the daphne starting to bloom, and that simply made my day. It smells so sweet! So here's to your upcoming beautiful hydrangeas, and the next cycle. xx
