Good morning gorgeous one...

I cannot believe it is SEPTEMBER 1st. I am going to continue to pray for US..as I did yesterday morning early, as I walked under the light of the moon.

Can you believe this? But the perfume of September and school, it all hits just right with us, doesn't it my dear friend and colleague in teaching?

My September love? The smell of those PINK PEARL erasers, the sound of the children banging their lockers shut, the feel of lead from the pencil on my fingers, the perfect level of stress/adrenalin to get me started on a year of challenge. I missed this last year, but we are back in business.

MUCH LOVE TO YOU KORALEE!!!!!! Anita

Happy September Miss Kindergarten teacher . . .

One of my September joys was "going back to school" and I too taught kindergarten . . . nothing better than teaching that age, little innocent sponges . . .

September brings cool mornings, evenings, sleeping with windows open, outdoor sounds, returning birds to the feeders, colored leaves, comfy sweaters, walks in the woods, acorns and dried hydrangeas, fragrance of spice and pumpkin.

My favorite time of the year . . .

Today is our wedding anniversary. September opens my favorite seasons. Autumn and Winter.
I've always loved school and the season of buying new school supplies.

Cooler weather doesn't arrive in So. California until the end of October. Celebrating every day until the crispness in the air arrives.

Dear Koralee,

I can feel your enthusiasm over here :-)! So happy to hear you had a good start of the new school season. Hope your daughter is settling in at college.

My list with September loves is looooong! We celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, my parents their 50th wedding anniversary and I have just booked a stall at the Swan Market (vintage & lifestyle) again :-) So many happy things to look foreward too!

Have a great week Koralee!

Your September loves are so special. Since we had more summer than usual I am actually looking forward to cooler evenings. We will still be enjoying summer a bit longer with a week at the seashore and some family outings. Then by the end of the month it will be time to celebration my little guys first birthday and head into the fall and holiday season. Best wishes to you in kindergarten and your daughter in collage.

September is my favourite month too, firstly because I am a September birthday girl and secondly because I love the slight crispness in the air. The light the September sun gives which is so subtly different. Crunching through leaves and seeing my grandson in his new school uniform ready to start another year. We in blighty have had a glorious summer for a change and the days are still quite warm so I think this year we will welcome the Autumn in all its glory. Happy days to you.
