It is all so sad...makes one wonder what the heck is going on in this world and does ANYONE know what they are doing! :]
Hi Koralee,
We all share, with sadness the tragedy that has happened, makes you weep.
I really hope that they get this cleaned up, so the Ocean will be once again blue.
Erin's photos were lovely.
Hugs

HI KORALEE,
I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED THE OCEAN TOO. THE SMELL TO ME IS SO CLEAN. I LOVE FINDING SHELLS ON THE BEACH. I HAVE BASKETS OF THEM. IT IS A SHAME HOW ARE OCEAN AND BEACHES GET NEGLECTED AT TIMES. IT IS A PRESIOUS GIFT FROM GOD.
HAVE A NICE TUESDAY...RIZZI
Koralee, Isn't is just so sad.
I told my husband the other night that ANY woman (any I know) would have had that oil cleaned up by the second week. We just would of. Because we HAD to. Some things are more important than politics and agendas and money.
Everyday i walk to the sea and am in total awe at its beauty and calmness. I am becoming a huge lover of blue as well.
It makes me so distressed as what is going on to not only the ocean but all the living creatures. I can't even read about it anymore it breaks my heart.
I never truly understood my husband's love of the sea until moving here. Now i do understand his need to come home.

I can't imagine living near this horrible disaster. It breaks my heart. Thanks for the link to Erin. It's a beautiful post, and so is yours.
Oh, Koralee, as a softy like you, I cannot bear to watch the news and see what is happening in our precious ocean. It just slays me. I'm also a BIG fan of blue ~ it just sings to me! Thank you for this precious post. xx Suzanne
There is nothing like the color blue! It is the perfect example of calm...like our blue ocean.
The disaster is horrible, and very sad.
sad indeed... we must have faith and hope.... and learn from this disaster...... koralee, thank you so much for linking to me. what an honor.....

sad waterbaby
It breaks my heart - I can't bear to see the photos of all the creatures covered in oil. We have failed miserably.
Today I was at the beach here on the Pacific Ocean and I couldn't help but think of the contrast with what is happening in the Gulf of Mexico.

Dearest one...
So so sad. My heart aches too. I am so ashamed to be a human sometimes. My soul soars to a place to become one with all living and dying precious ones...
XO
It is so so depressing. I only hope we can at least learn from this!
Having spent so much of my vacation time in the south on various beaches...I am heartbroken at what is happening. I'm currently on the Florida gulf coast with my dad and our beaches here will soon be in danger. They are pure white, the texture of powdered sugar and I can't stand the thought of what may happen. I also can't stand the thought of how many people are being financially ruined by this.
oh it breaks my heart...this is so sad...what a terrible human error...such a tender post...a tearful Rosie
Hi Koralee~ I stopped over to visit Erin's site... her art is beautiful...
The painting definitely brings us more awareness of the 'hurt' to our ocean and planet.
I pray for our sweet Earth... We have been made her stewards... Let us also pray that people of amazing ingenuity and God-given talent will lead us through it all ~

Read and admired Erin's post a couple of days too. So so touching. The pictures of the jars and blue blue ocean are stunning though.
Your side bare photos are cute, especially the buttoned heart.
Let's hope mother earth will survive this disaster and come out somehow stronger.
Have a sweet sweet day, Koralee. xx
Oh Koralee...it is just so unbearable to watch.
The birds...the dolphins.
They don't understand.
And neither do I.
Even my sister rescued some stray kitties...on the beach...concerned that when the oil hits the panhandle of Florida...the crabs and fish will no longer be available for the stay beach kitties.
She took a pic for me of the kittens on their long ride back to her house from the beach.
My sister and her family have a beach house on the gulf.
I so pray that oil doesn't make it to their lovely white beach.
Sad...sad.

It does grieve my heart deeply to know that our living ocean of life and lively hood is blackening with a despair with no end in sight....what a terrible shame for everyone....all creation, really. I must visit your link...beautifully said dearest. Anita
So sad for our ocean waters and all who live there, wildlife and humans. It's a very upsetting situation.

That is a totally gorgeous picture with the angel!!! That is what we need right now isn't it? An angel to swoop down & clean it all up! It is hard to believe. I can't imagine living on the ocean & depending on it right now...
THose gorgeous blue ball jars...I have a few too...& they totally make me smile!
Yes, blue is indeed a beautiful color. I just have to believe we will learn something important from the oil spill and how much our oceans mean to our planet.
This is a beautiful post Koralee! I just heard on the news that we had a Chevron oil spill here locally as well ... carelessness is a tragedy.
I love blue too ... I love your image of the day ... and I might just have to borrow your idea of the buttons for a photo! xoxo
I love the images , too.
It hurts more, though, knowing , it doesen´t look that way anymore.
It hurts very much!
Wish you a wonderful day, sweetie.

i, too, miss the blue.
It's so great... I will go to see all of him now... Thanks !
Dear Koralee, let's envision this wonderful ocean, blue again and full of happy fish and sea creatures. It makes me sick to think of what's happened, but sending positive energy feels liberating somehow - and maybe it actually does help.
Oh theres no words to describe it.I feel so helpless,Id love to help somehow some way.Did you hear the latest on all of the things that are being made from everyone everywhere in the states? They are making something that slops it up, to lay along the beaches its made from a nylon net and human hair and dog hair as well.Salons and dog grooming places are sending the hair shipping it down to the golf. They have to do something soon,it has already killed so many birds. So very sad, between that and the Borders here I dont know what the heck is going on.
Have a great day!
Gorgeous gorgeous images for the day Koralee.

Heartbreak for sure :(
A wonderful gift we have taken for granted like so many others....
Hearbreak.... it seems crazy in this day an age of technology they can't stop what they have caused. Praying help is out there.

Oh I know... I'm sad too. Hoping and praying this all ends soon...
stunning images . a sad situation
....thank you for stirring our minds....we all need to be responsible
...and for tweeking our memories....I have my grandmas jars like that!
It's beyond heartbreaking, for many years to come this will be felt.
xoxo
Being at the ocean right now makes me realize just how beautiful and majestic it really is. Will I be able to come back to this same beach next year? I don't know. I do take comfort in knowing that Jesus has the whole world in his hands... even our ocean.*
