{oooh la la ....Marie Claire}

Bonjour!
I have just discovered the yummiest
magazine!
{marie claire idees..... happy dance}
The only trouble is....the text is French
so
I am only able to read bits and pieces
{ I would give myself a C-
for my ability to decode the French word}
I say....who cares
....this is not going to stop me from buying such
loveliness
{the photography soooooo inspires me}
thought you might like to take a
wee peek

I would love to hear
what your
favourite magazine
is....
{my coffee table /beach bag needs filling for the Summer}

Oooh makes me want to learn French even more:-) Love the eye candy!
Hmmm I'd say my fave mag is Body and Soul (Now Whoel Living). Love it, healthy recipes and feel good ideas.

Have a great day dear!

Happy dance is right. I speak no French whatsoever but I would still like to flip through this delightful looking magazine. The sleeping dog struck me this morning. I like Country Living, Vogue and Elle Decor but nothing compares to Blueprint which I still miss.

I love your quote for the day and please pass me a strawberry ice cream treat on that pretty floral plate :D

In Marie Claire's magazine... your photo would be on the maman géniale page!
A GREAT MOM ! ! ! A BRILLIANT MOM!

I read Better Homes and Gardens, Woman's Day... and this year, I ordered Martha Stewart as well.
They're nice, but to be honest... all you wonderful people out here... have the best photos, ideas and recipes!

Who cares? I buy Japanese magazine where I "read" only the pictures! LOL!
Glad to hear that you are taking card-making classes, love to see your creations, with your eyes for colors and photography, I bet the cards would be as beautiful! Can't wait!
question: where can I the magazine?

Magpie's Mumblings said...

I don't speak a word of French (despite living in Canada where it is our 'second' language). Nevertheless I'd love drooling over the pictures. My favourite magazine is Sew Somerset (well, actually I like pretty much ALL the Somerset magazines).

Sometimes the picture say it all. I love each one of these. They all so remind me of BlueBird Notes, to be honest. Please don't go and move to France, now. OK, go on a vaca there to take pictures, but come home back to us.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am a huge tea person too. I have a whole collection of tea pots and tea cups. I buy a lot of loose tea and enjoy it even more in my pretty cups. :)

HI KORALEE,
YOUR MAGAZINE LOOKS LIKE A WINNER. I LOVE THE PHOTO'S, ESPECIALLY THE DOG, WHAT A GREAT PROJECT TO MAKE, AND THE EMBROIDERED TEA CUPS THEY WOULD LOOK GREAT ON SOME TEA TOWELS, OR APRON. I WOULD LOVE TO TEACH YOU TO CROCHET, BUT I DO MOSTLY THE GRANNY STITCH, AND A FEW OTHERS. MY MOM TAUGHT ME WHEN I WAS JUST A LITTLE GIRL. BUY SOME YARN AND A CROCHET HOOK, AND A SMALL BOOK THAT TEACHES TO CROCHET.
I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT...RIZZI

Oh Koralee I just love Marie Claire Idees!!! I used to get it all the time when I was living in Montreal and it is superb. I need to get up to Montreal to visit with my sister and I am going to look for a copy when I go! I usually pick up the British version of Country Living as well when I am there as it is really different from the version we get here.
Have a great evening looking through your mag!

Actually, French Marie Claire is my favorite mag :) No joke! I subscribe to the American version, but I got addicted to the French one while living in France. American magazines are pretty easy to find in Paris, but they are SO expensive. Finally it hit me that I could actually READ the French ones, so I might as well save some money :)

Oh mercy-ful heavens :) I'd like to get my hands on that! I'm grieving still over the loss of ME's Home Companion...

Ohhhh .... what a beautiful magazine. You know, I think I may have spotted this title at our local Barnes & Noble Store, but I didn't have time to stop and glance through it. I surely will do that the next time I make a trip there, which may even be today. (smile) Love, love, love the beautiful items you have shown us. I especially love the clothesline photo.

My favorite magazine is "Artful Blogging", which is published by Somerset Studio (Stampington & Company). Any of their magazines are wonderful, but I think Artful Blogging is my favorite.

Wishing you a love-filled week ..... Thank you for showing us your Friday Pretties.

My favorite magazine is Donna Hay. But I've seen Marie Claire. It's gorgeous.

Last year I bought a small book called Verrines. Entirely in French. Between Google translate and my French-speaking daughter, we translated it all. (it was a small book,thank heaven) Well worth it!

Thank goodness photos translate to any language! From the looks of the photos you shared this is a gorgeous magazine! The French just adds a flare. :) Have a great weekend!

Simply.Lovely. I LOVE Where Women Create and Mary Janes Farm magazines. Also love travel mags and writing mags...when I am through reading them I save favorite images/words for vision boards. But some mags I cannot bare to cut into so I leave them be and re-read them every now and then. XOX
