My memories go back to taking my daughter to the pumpkin farm each year to pick out our pumpkins. The farm is gone now and the daughter is grown but it seems like yesterday.

Mmmmmm...........I love all those things about fall, Koralee...since I live in California now, I don't get to experience fall in the same way I did when I grew up.

I miss the smell in the air...the chill mixed with the smell of dying leaves...The smell of burning leaf piles...oh, so many things!

Another thing I love about autumn is the anticipation in the air of all the holidays to come. Such an exciting time of year!

I hope your autumn day is filled with beauty, my friend!

MY goodness, I cant believe that October is almost through!
October always reminds me of halloween and the spring weather arriving. Plus its my brothers birthday and my bf's birthday in the next few days.
And speaking of scones, I think I shall bake some tomorrow :)

You know I'm off to see what Erin has up her sleeve. Just love these pictures. Stunning. But your words make it all the better. Most of my memories of this October will be about living in the land of OZ, which is usually the case for most Octobers here in the Midwest.

There truly is "No Place like Home" and your home is one I love to come visit daily.

Time to Rack,
Kate

It's a real cosy month and time to snuggle up and get ready for Christmas :-) We are also off to France this weekend to visit friends who have opened a French interiors and tea shop in a medieval village, so that will be a perfect end to the month xxx

At first glance of that photo I thought to myself, "Now how did she do that?" What a fabulous image! And even though you borrowed it, it still goes to show your wonderful eye! I love it!!!

I do love that "nip in the air" that comes with fall - and of course the changing of the leaves - and orange splashes of color on pumkins sitting on front porches! I will miss October too.

Hi Koralee,

What a sweet photo you have shared of Erins.
Hope that last few days of October are lovely for you, sweet friend.
As you know my memories are much different over here for October, Spring flowers are about, have had my first taste for the season of strawberries, raspberries and asparagus and the days are warming up.

Happy Thursday

Good morning, Koralee!
You've listed all my favorite fall things ~ I love this time of year {except for the front lawns that go all out for Halloween - not my fav. "holiday."}
I visited Erin's blog. What beautiful photography. I love what she did with the leaves on her curtains!
I came home with a bouquet of leaves yesterday afternoon after a long walk. So many gorgeous leaves at my feet. What a glorious walk!
I'll definitely be back to her blog for more visits. Thank you for introducing her to us
Have a sweet day dear friend ♥
Wishing you well, always,
