I am always for easy though I truly believe nothing is like homemade. But knowing the creative genius of Koralee, you will sprinkle your brilliance on this and make it fabulous!
Look like a good package to me. I am sure it will be tasty. My sister emailed me the other day that she had made a red velvet cake. I asked her for the recipe and she said it was from a package and yummy, Short-cut are good sometimes. Dogwood
Oh, goodness...Trader Joe's makes me so happy! Love those pretty boxes, too...you'll have to tell us how you like the frosting...I always do homemade, so I've never tried it.
Hope you're having a wonderful weekend with your family, my friend...
YOU ARE HOME. YOU HAVE ONE MORE WEEK to play, cook, bake, sleep, create....whatever your gorgeous self desires...and I will be along side you! I AM WAY TOO EXCITED ABOUT JUST hanging out. Yesterday, Ruben and I didn't even GO OUT...something that we are always doing, but there are time when I just want to stay PUT. We did, and it was marvelous. We read together, I just sat in the new room and admired the SUN shining into the pure white walls and reflecting the colors of the prisms in the chandelier on the walls. Those little things just tickle me!!!! Well dearest, that frosting should come out wonderfully. SAVE US THE SPOON to lick off the extra!!!! BISOUS MON AMIE! Anita
Let us know what you think about the frosting. I'm going to make chocolate chip cookies today while I doing the laundry and watching the snow melt away. Yes, it snow last night on all the spring flowers!! Have a wonderful day. xx susan
Hahah..I have had these in my hand a dozen times!..I will anxiously wait to hear about them! Friends came over last night brought chocolate cake ...& insisted we keep the leftover! Have a great day in the sun Koralee!
I do easy on a few things. I almost always buy the bags of sugar cookie mix. I think it tastes better than my homemade and so much easier. I don't know if I've ever done frosting from a box other than the fluffy white variety. You never know until you try!

I fell hard for the packaging at Trader Joe's and loaded up on cake mixes, cocoa, etc. Makes a pretty shelf in the kitchen! Tasted good too.

What a good trick! I've heard that adding instant pudding to those cake mixes also make a world of difference.
