~candy colours~

jujubes are a family favourite
can you guess which 2 colours are the first to go
and which poor colour is always left in the bottom of our jar?

So sorry if I have not visited you in a while......I hope to do so soon
life has been crazy busy lately

Hugs to you all
now I am off to have a jujube or two
just wish they had blue and pink ones

Love jujubes! Ever had chocolate covered ones? Mmmm.... they are the best.

At our house, the first to be gone would be the red ones. And then the green ones. And then the yellow ones. And then the black ones would be eaten by my mom when she came to visit... unless they were covered with chocolate... I would then eat the black ones first! :)

Hope you are having the loveliest of weeks Koralee!

Pink is the first to go?

Jujubes! Oh my goodness, they remind me of when I was a child. My grandma always had them in abundance waiting for us. I still love them very much, and just introduced them to my little one this past holiday season when I added them to the gingerbread house. (she stills asks for them even though I haven't bought anymore...)

My guess is that red is the first to go? Green is the last? It was always like that for us. :)

Lots of hugs to you dear Koralee, and don't worry about making it to my blog at least. It'll still be there to welcome you when you get some more time. :) Xoxo

I don't recall ever tasting that candy. Are the black ones licorice? That would be my favorite.

Yum--those are delicious and you can just have one and let it melt for awhile! Looks like the black ones disappeared! I like green. Linda

hi koralee,

i feel the same way ... no worries, sweets.

hmm. for me, red would go first; orange last. although, i'd probably make a citrus combo of orange-yellow-green. although truthfully, i'm a mike and ikes girl.

Koralee, I'll bet you ARE busy getting ready for Molly's return...
I'm glad you had that extra day. It will be sooo nice to have your whole family all together. I hope you are feeling well and that your back is keeping up with your days.
Now, take two jujubes every 10 minutes for good measure!
sunshine and joy to you, Koralee*

Hello Sweet friend,
Well, lets see...Red and Orange are MY favorites. AND, one MUST feel sorry for those lonely little Black and Yellows, that are ALWAYS layin' around...just hopin' SOMEONE will be desperate enough, to rescue one or two of these babies.
Hope your having a fine week, tying up all the loose ends that will bring this year to a close.
Hugs to you dear one...Rosie

Oh dearest, talk about BUSY.....I am sitting here having gotten up at 3:15am just to get to my comments! I am also considering calling in for a sub, but I can't...it is too late. TOO MUCH TO DO and it is only going to be worst next year. BUT JUJUBEES ARE ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA to soften the blows of busy lives! I used to love to take these to the show in the days of going to the cinema! Oh how I wish they made blue ones too!

I hope you get ALL your goals accomplished in a timely way dear one...sweet hugs to my sweet friend, Anita

These remind me of my Aunt Lori that passed away from cancer three years ago. She was my moms sister and my favorite aunt. She always bought me these growing up. Thank you for the SWEET memory.
The reds are the best!
The green are always the last to go!
Have a pretty day!

Of course, the red ones would be my favorite. And, the licorice ones would be my least favorite, followed by the green ones. Very pretty candy jar. It's almost the weekend. Are you gonna party like a rock star? I need some pretty weather, so I can get back to my planting. Big hugs, my friend!

I hope this makes you laugh, Koralee, but when I was in highschool (150 years ago) my boyfriend and I would double date to the movies and the boys would pop this candy into their mouths and then throw them at unsuspecting teenage boys (because they would stick when wet). Thanks for reminding me of that silly time in my life! :)

I've got candy on the brain too! Just finished off a package of Darrell Lea Australian strawberry licorice.
It's so soft and is sort of the shade of strawberry lemonade. Love it!

Hope you'e week slows down so you can enjoy some candy and r&r! xo friend

now, I believe in
a little treat every

idea of these because
they take a long time
to eat : ) I'm partial
to the licorice ones!

What a cute and sweet picture! Love your candy jar!! Would black be a color that is missing? Yellow the color that is left? :)

They all make a pretty picture for sure!

Have a happy weekend dear friend. Will your daughter be coming home to visit? We visit one of our daughters in GA this Summer. Can't wait to see her (and her new baby, when he arrives). School is almost out here, one week left. I am looking forward to some relaxing time with the grandkids. Enjoy!! :)
