~happy weekend~

packing and unpacking
we just got into our new home
now the fun begins

I am off and running but
wanted to leave you with
this little piece of wisdom.......

Peace....
it does not mean to be in a place
where there is no noise.... trouble
or hard work.
it means to be in the
midst of those things and still
be calm in your heart
{unknown}
happy weekend

AMEN. This speaks volumes to me as I ponder on the world's events and wonder "HOW" do we deal with these acts of nonsensical violence?" May love carry us, EACH and every one of us to each day's sunset.

Koralee,
That quote is beautiful and so true. We never can control the "noise" around us but we can control what is inside us. Now that I say that, i realize what a hard job that can be!! Your dishes look adorable. It looks like you wrapped them in pink and white tissue. That would make packing and unpacking a lot more fun! I hope your new house is full of love and creates beautiful memories.
XO,
Suz

I was thinking that this morning. In the midst of all the chaos, I have found (temporarily I am sure) internal peace. A huge improvement over the last few days. :)

Have a great weekend.

Oh darling friend,

What a joy to see your comment! My sweet, you are going to have SO MUCH FUN in your new house, I KNOW IT! If she has good bones, then all it will take is the love you have and skill as a designer/artist to make her a HOME...a home ONLY YOU can create. Yes precious, that large subheader on my blog is probably THE best photo I have taken of my harp studio! IF I had a wide angled lens, I could probably also include my harp and marble mantle in the shot, but for now, this photo does capture the mood of my studio that I love; the light, the glitter of my dress form, the little theatre to the side and my SETTEE where I love to sit with the crown above and of COURSE....our AQUA spread about!!!!

Dearest, I am thinking of you with your back. Off and on, I get twings of a pulling sensation in my thigh or both...just today, I woke up fine. All I did was go for a walk and all was well, but suddenly as I was just sitting, my lower back started to HURT SO BADLY to the point of not being able to walk! And it just feels as if something in out of line or a nerve is being aggravated!!!!!

HOW ARE YOU? OK, I know you are going to be super busy with the house..be so careful with your back but HAVE A BLAST! I will be praying for BOTH OF US and especially when school starts, our backs have to behave!!!!

MUCH LOVE TO YOU MY BLUEBIRD OF JOY!!! Anita

Hi Koralee ~ I adore your sweet vintage dishes... Are they your grandmothers? {my grandmothers are almost the same! I adored them and used to help her dust her cabinet and wash all her dishes for a "fresh look" ~ what special, sweet and simple time that was.
Whenever I use them, It feels like a warm hug!

I also love the quote you used for today ~ especially with all the current excitement in your life! --
{May I borrow that quote for my sidebar? It would be perfect!}

Koralee, I've been keeping your strength and back in my prayers ~ take care of yourself ♥ and use any "back protecting" ideas that work!

God bless you and be with you on this magnificent journey!
*♥* Maria

That quote is amazing and so, so true. I thought of you today when I was at the market and saw pink lolly's! I think I may have to go back and buy some, as I have never seen them there before and they had cotton candy too. Oh my!
